Seems to me Caitlin has been turned loose; she took a lot of shots, did not shoot well, if she starts hitting open 3s The Fever will Rule. Also I've been a harsh critic of Coach Sides but this game The Fever look like a totally reborn team. Fever defense was extremely solid and when the situation called for it The Fever went into high level trap defense. Well coached and hustle was A+.
I think she's thinking too much still. She hasn't gotten back to that flow state she used to have in college. Still, when you have an 'off' day and set a record, more people should probably such off days I guess.

Amazing. We can beat all teams on the way to our ring. just be mindful girls, about the shot clock please. Amazing, CC is "just a rookie who played well versus high school girls." Well, she scored a triple double vs the best team in the league (formerly??). And she still has a lot of growth to take place! I would say, CC is at 1/10th of where she will be, lol. hahahaaaa! Mitchell, Smith and Boston did quite well. All others and a first time seen player on Fever to me also I think. We can learn from New York's style where they made us run around a few times confused until they got the open 3's which was spectacular. Excellent. Goooo Fever!

Still 9-13, too young n inexperienced in the beginning. It wasn't the coaching, no practices, playing top tier teams, 11 games in twenty one days with a rookie point guard n youngest roster was going to be rough to start with.

With her speed, she should also be one of the ones cutting to the basket so that Caitlin can feed her the ball, instead of always just trying to rush the basket with the ball. Doing both will give the other team a lot more to think about.

I've watched this game two times. I love the speed and passion and how the energy waves between them. For me CC is in her own class already but now I see some other girls too who shines a little extra. I'm from Sweden and I have never watched a basket ball game before I found CC. This coach actually lets CC lead this team and stop benching her when she is needed on the court. She is one of the best defenders on Fever. Let this team work together with CC leading the way and they will be in the playoffs. Do your job Sides let your team win stop playing defense on CC.
If double doubles are so great, why didn’t ANY TH-cam channel even mention NaLyssa Smith’s double double today? Because they happen all the time and no one cares. Triple doubles are news, and in case of rookies… no rookie in the history of the league ever had a triple double. Enter Caitlin Clark, now it’s been done! The 1st player in history with a triple double.
Actually, double doubles were mentioned today. It's obvious that this is supposed to be shade at AR. You either didn't hear, or chose to ignore the fact that AR set a rookie record for consecutive double doubles (12 straight), which also is currently tied with Cadance Parker for the overall record. We all know how legendary CP is.
Don't really even understand why people can't just acknowledge that both of these young women are setting the W on fire. I get if you favor one over the other due to Fandom. Still not a great reason to trash another player who is clearly playing at a high level as well.
Caitlin has not yet fully adjusted to the WNBA, and her shooting remains inconsistent. Given these factors, it would be advisable for her to refrain from competing in the all-star three-point contest, as there is much at stake should she not succeed.

Am I the only one who thinks that the shot clock is too short? I get the reason for it, but at that short a time, it discourages the development of strategy. It doesn't have to be unlimited, but a minute isn't an unreasonable amount of time to get the ball down court and develop an attack.
Obviously it'll usually go far fast than that, but the option should be there.
The use of the bounce pass is only unutilized in the WNBA just like a lot of things that WNBA does not have in their fundamentals
You see more women in the WNBA miss open layups than you do in junior high school
Without Caitlin on the floor, the team looks disorganized. That is why they only won 13 games last year.....
Defense is really simple no matter where you're playing it all you do is keep your body between the girl with the ball and the basket that's all there is to it
