I stopped watching marvel when they confused the original identities of the heroes
Disney Marvel's She-Hulk show brought in the villain group The Wrecking Crew and raceswapped almost all of them to minorities, however took the one original minority character of the group and its smartest one as he was a gamma physicist, Elliot Franklin aka Thunderball, who was one of the first wave of original black characters in Marvel comics in the early 70's after the creation of Black Panther in 1966, to a scrawny white guy with a $5 ski mask and one line.

As a jew who lives in Israel, I have a number of things to say about this:
First of all, it's PATHETIC from marvel to think that they can buy my adoration by having a character with my ethnicity in their comics. I don't care about characters' ethnicity, as long as they are well written.
Second, marvel have shown that they are cowards and alt left complicits by them erasing Sabra's Israeli identity. This trend of "not wanting to offend anyone politically" became aggravating YEARS AGO.

I'm pretty sure Stan Lee and Jack Kirby would have had a fit over changing the Identity of Sabra, but this is, now, Disney we're talking about (who owns the rights to Marvel), and Disney is fond of retconning characters to pander to a specific audience. So this would be Disney erasing any link to Israel. In all probablity the movie will flop anyway, and Disney will find away to blame auidences.. yet agian. Personally, I think someone is intentionally sabotaging the Disney IP because it's an American Icon, but that's a discussion for another day.

It wouldn't be Marvel, it would be the parent company, Disney, who would do this. Disney himself was an Anti-Semite, you know. Kevin Feige should never have sold out to Disney but, as they say, money talks. The MCU isn't the same since 'Avengers: Endgame'. Phase 5 is already Disney woke, and this proves it.
It wasnt Kevin Feige it was Ike Perlmutter who sold Marvel to Disney and stayed on as board leader until 2019, who he himself moved from Israel to the US when he was young.
Also Kevin Feige hated Ike Perlmutter.
At one point he almost quit until Bob Iger of Disney convinced him not to and reassigned him to answer to Alan Horn instead of Perlmutter.
Perlmutter, unlike Feige and Victoria Alonso, was not a pusher of DEI, as he was more concerned with guaranteed profits. This infuriated Feige.
Also, Kevin Feige didn't come up wth the idea of a shared universe. Ike Perlmutter and Margaret Loesch (head of Fox Family and former CEO of Marvel Productions) did way back in the 90's with the Fox Marvel animated universe.

However, Marvel going to Woke Disney was a bad move, and has compromised the franchise. I am not that hopeful about Phase 5, and there are already huge cracks over the next Avengers film, title and content. I was already a bit uncomfortable with the scene of Steve Rogers in the support group in 'Endgame', but it was still a real stonker of a film which I enjoyed, and both 'Black Panther' and 'Black Widow', as origin-based stories. However, watching 'Wakanda Forever' was a bit cringy.
Disney might stump up monies for future films and shows, but they need to keep their DEI/CRT/LBGTQ++ noses out of what is meant to be action-adventure superheroism. If we want real-life issues in our films, we would watch things with Cher and Bette Midler in it. And I don't wish to. And I hope Sony keeps hold of Spider Man, and keeps the Mouse far away.

Many of Marvels characters that this movie franchise was based on were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who where both Jewish. Which only makes this more prevalent of how the company is smearing both of these men's work in the later phases for their own personal gains and ambitions. Only using the current issues as the company's latest string of excuses to do so.
It sounds like she's going to be an enemy or defector of Russia, so not at all the same as portraying an Israeli patriot.
There have been online boycotts for this movie due to even having Sabra in it; mostly from pro Palestine people, so its understandable that Disney Marvel made massive reshoots and changes things around to try to salvage this movie but it also does come off as cowardly.
Also, while there are indeed many Russian Jews, the concerp of Sabra being a Black Widow is humorous since the term Sabra itself is a slang term for "Israeli born Jew".
