Working productivity increases manifold when employees can chill and are comfortable. Google is one of the best companies to work for. Last year I was at their Singapore office. It is super cool.

Because ofc these facilities are there to incite you not to leave the Office and be a more productive employee, that being said, software engineers constantly rank amongst the happiest employees in the world, I don't see how any of these facilities would be a negative even if they are there to keep you inside, which btw, you can still leave if you wish to, Google isn't keeping you there by force, at lunch you can just go to wherever you want, tech companies also have some of the most flexible working hours and working environments in the workforce, and have you even seen a Google paycheck?!
