I was a beautiful guy at 17, long ago. I was athletic, talented, and gifted in some arts. But i had such a harsh father that shut me down so completely that i could not communicate with virtually any girl back then, just a few words here and there and i actually remember feeling most comfortable in college with girls i was not attracted to because i didn't feel the pressure with them. I remember gorgeous girls just climbing on my school desk to get my attention, i could not speak. They soon realized or thought i was 'weird' . So much affects us as we are growing up. I remember when this came out, I was 15 but it resonated.
I remember this, growing up in a third world country, playing on the radio.... and thought of it as a hauntingly beautiful song that we can all relate to. Brings nostalgia... just beautiful era of music then!
