You have given some great advice, and I totally agree with all. I started my Bible reading and studies in 2021. I would add that the King James version has been the most helpful to me in deepening my personal relationship with Jesus. I started with the New King James but soon after switched to the KJV at someone else's suggestion, and I am very happy I did. Something else that has helped is memorizing the names of the books of the Bible. While this may seem like an impossible task (it did for me; I am in my late 50s and have a poor memory), I was able to learn them by song. If you search TH-cam, you will find a variety of songs, many geared to helping children learn them, so I found a song I liked, and it worked for me. It will make looking up scriptures much quicker. Choose a song you like because you will be listening to it over and over while you learn, and it will be in your head for a long time. I still listen to the song once a week to make sure I don't forget. As mentioned, my memory is bad. In any event, I just subscribed. I like you and I like what you're doing.
