holy crap you did it!! i remember when you randomly decided on what seemed like a whim on swap to do this and bingo bango you did it! congrats thats so cool!
Ah David……. I think it is your fitness that allowed you to perform much more so than your nutritional strategy. I could be getting the gels right too but sure as hell ain’t coming anywhere close to 15 hours at Leadville! Congratulations on an amazing achievement!
Not his first rodeo though: "David Roche is a two-time USATF trail national champion, the 2014 U.S. Sub-Ultra Trail Runner of the Year, and a member of Nike Trail Elite and Team Clif Bar" - I think this is a tend in ultras right now, a lot of very strong athletes are trying them out, its not just random trail runners who want to push themselves anymore.
Is it possible to win anything anymore eating foods people without a diploma can understand, on footwear not made by Asian children which are higher from the ground than high heels, and wearing clothes not made in a lab? Congrats David, I know how amazing your accomplishment is, but some things, sometimes, especially now, are more important.
This channel is a company that sells fuel for runners lol, of course that's the focus of this interview. If you feel grumpy about it maybe you should go for an unfueled run :) be the change you wish to see in the world etc etc
It’s always funny to see a comment like this. My friend, you’re on a cell phone (probably made by the same people making the clothes and shoes), on TH-cam, commenting negativity toward a man accomplishing goals. Your insecurities are shining and your blind spots don’t allow you to see it. You would think someone who follows Carl Jung would understand his own shadow. Go do something hard.
He’s such a good humble dude…bravo!
Congratulations, David! Didn't believe it was you till I heard you speak! RESPECT 💪⛰️🏃🏻♂️💨
Congratulations, David! That was an epic performance!
