I spent ages listening to this song on endless ocean... good times. The white mother is proud of me, I hope.

      +Noelle O'Brien What shipwreck?
Are you talking about the titanic shipwreck in endless ocean?

Ship's Rest- the area with the Great White sharks that you get to through a ghost ship

+Noelle O'Brien Ah, the one that looks a bit like the fallen titanic. I see. I forgot it was called that.

It's on the first game- you will get an email about a ghost ship after you complete most of the map. You need to find and assemble the compass artifact. Once you find it, it will give you three coordinates: E9, E5, and H6. The ship will randomly show up at one of the three coordinates, and it may move. When you go to these coordinates, swim to the surface and look above the surface- if you are in the right place, you will see an old, brownish wooden ship. Swim to the location, and you will be able to see a hole in the side of the ship. Swim through it, and you arrive at Ship's Rest.

I remember I found the shipwreck recently when revisiting endless ocean for the purposes of nostalgia. I genuinely smiled when I heard this song that was in a childhood game of mine that was seemingly one last mystery for me to explore. (I did use online guides this time, but it still did feel magical)

Kia Ora! With all due respect to your koroua and whanau, Haley's interpretation is sincere. She has given many the opportunity to be exposed to the beautiful and poetic skills of Maori songwriters. There are many Maori composers out there and I hope to see more of there work performed publicly.

I saw this CD and liked the cover so, I took a chance that I might like it. I'd never heard of Hayley Westenra but I immediately fell in love with her. Beautiful voice, beautiful person.

@4864427 That's funny... this song is on the track in Endless Ocean, and it plays when you're in the abyss.

    The tides surge
    onto the seashore
    and my heart throbs.
    Alas! Bring back
    Your love to me
    and to the people
    Weeping in our hearts.
    Take my love with you
Alas! There is weeping inside of
    me, left behind here
    and inside of the people
    Weeping in our hearts.

"The sea takes back its own. As life began in the sea, so must all life return to a final resting place."
"I'd heard rumors about ocean graveyards like that one, but I never thought I'd see it here in Manoa Lai.
...What? You haven't heard of them? Seriously? Listen, we can't call that an ocean graveyard. It creeps me out. Let's call it "Ship's Rest." That's kinda nice."
