Hi Laura. As someone that grew up in a very tough and violent family, where nobody cared about each other, is so heart warming to see you interact with your mom, your sister, your husband and kids. I think you all are restoring my faith in love and showing me what it actually looks like at my 27 years of age. I'm a very angry person, but every time I watch your videos a new ray of sunshine pierces through my walls and I'm very thankful for that.

Same here. I grew up with a dysfunctional family myself. I then ended up with toxic in laws too. It's been a special kind of hell. I'm 43 and growing a relationship with God and He has helped calm my anger and taught me forgiveness and inner peace.
I love watching the inner workings of the Garden Center wherein you create something out of nothing ~ and then the magic unfolds before our eyes with all the beautiful plants arriving.

Whenever I watch your family together at the GC I smile with tears in my eyes. My eldest brother, mother & myself all worked together running more than one of his businesses. We lived 2 minutes apart and shared a huge garden. I miss them so but will walk with them in glory one day.
I predict schools will be hiring you three ladies to decorate and paint props for classrooms and plays. Those turned out so cute! It amazes me how creative you three are. I agree that they all need a little smile added, simply because I think they would look cute with a smile and plus, I can't imagine any customers walking through the doors unhappy nor leaving in a grouchy mood. 😊

I've been watching your videos for several years. During that time I have removed our old landscaping, built a rock wall, planted new trees, shrubs and many perennials. Even though I'm in Kelowna, British Columbia, zone 6a, our environment is almost identical to yours. HOT dry long summers, mild winters with not an abundance of snow. Your advise has been invaluable and I just wanted to say thank you.
The day you filmed this video, my husband and I were actually in Andrews Seed shopping; It was so lovely to chat with Monica and your Mom and to smile at you as you moved around the store with your big beet. I was too shy to actually say hello and thank you in person for all the gifts you have given me. Maybe I'll pop down again this summer to shop again..... it's only a 9 hour drive! I'm excited for the summer so that I can use all my new purchases and think of your family every time I do. Hugs ~ Lisa

Next spring do seed packets & soil! With a trowel & a shovel or hoe. That would be so simple a simple rectangle packet & a picture of a veggie on the rectangle! Hang garden hats from the top & some gloves along the “soil”… voilà! This was so cute!!! ❤

I love, that you do all these things! Alot of stores either just don't bother, or they resign to using premade stuff. Chain stores will often have the exact same decor, consisting of window stickers, and it just does not give the same effect... I think it is always nice, to enter a store, where things still feel personal, like the owners care. I love, that you put so much effort into making the store look so nice and fresh for every season.

The veggies turned out really cute and I love the idea of the goggly eyes and putting on smiles. This might bring in more mom’s because the kids will want to see all the cute veggies. Can’t wait for spring to get here in north Iowa. Still have snow here. I can’t believe you guys are north of us and have no snow and spring flowers already.

First off Laura just have to say you and your mom’s veg’s came out so cute. Y’all are so talented and can paint so well. I will admit the googly eyes make them. Great idea. I so wish I lived close to your parents garden center so I could buy some of those gorgeous plants that came in. The ones , which are few, in my area have the worst selection of plants. They are so cheesy. I envy you. Those plants were beautiful they got in. Can’t wait to see you plant the ones you got that were also beautiful.

Was wading through the pain from slipped disc and couldn't work, so watching you distracted me from the sciatica pain and the anxiety of not working, staying at home and having to lie down mostly.
