"A Warrior's Guilt" - a tale of blind personal ambition gone very wrong, which finally claim the lives of the 3 persons tragically.
The country is under attack from enemy forces. Fair Maiden Pearl has a premonition which bodes of a future tragedy. She is therefore vexed over the safety of the 2 men closest to her heart; her elder brother, and her fiance, both of whom will be leaving for the battle front.They arrived separately to bid farewell to her.
The Hong Kong QingMiao Cantonese Opera Company 香港青苗粤剧 with young huadan Zheng YaQi 郑雅琪 (as the maiden) young xiaosheng Li YaoWei 黎耀威 (as her elder brother), and Lan TianYou 蓝天佑 (as her fiance). performing on 22nd Aug 2013; the first night of their 4-nite season at the Kreta Ayer Peoples' Theatre, Singapore.

A fantastic program and well written in the likes and genre of 葉兆德 music. All actors performed well, however the subplot needs a bit more action and eagerness to thicken plots.I saw this show in Singapore while vacationing.
