Not a lot of people will realize this, but the ergonomics of this setup is proper. I’ll start with the audio, studio monitors for flat frequency response of the krks are properly positioned in terms of distance from listener , distance from eachother, and elevation relative to listeners ear. Also, the sound not being covered by any obstructions, such as placing the monitors behind the screen such that the sound will hit the back of the monitor to some degree and wreck the sound field. most people and youtubers I see have no idea where they need to place speakers, or even understand the basics regarding how the sound leaves the speaker and how the woofers and tweeters triangulate at what is called the sweet spot to recreate proper stereofield of sound To support this, the top of the 49” ultra wide placed about 2’ away from the front of his head and is lined up at eye level. Alongside the elevation of the monitors which also are are lined up with ear level. I can see this is a very proper setup , and not many people set their system up like this. It’s just proper, and it’s a big pet peeve of mine watching youtubers have very nice expensive gear positioning them incorrectly. And that’s an objective truth. The recommendations of manufacturers are recommended to provide the the marketed specs of the gear, and when there is a user error , you get diminishing returns on the products. Which is my gripe with big youtubers , having 10,000 speaker setups with the speakers above their heads , or the positioning of them are so wide that the stereofield doesn’t recreate the intended audio data and so on and so forth. It’s just refreshing to see someone do it right.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work for a company that has learned its employees can wfh efficiently and successfully since the start of the Covid-19 crisis. I’ve since become so obsessed with desk setups, specifically yours! You’ve inspired me to give myself a wfh desk setup that will keep me inspired and motivated to work hard through the day. My setup is kinda the same at its core. Ultra wide, a switch hub so i can switch all devices between work laptop and home PC, custom wood top standing desk, I have Sonos speakers as always use headphones for PC audio. I even have the Ikea wall hook system for game pad, VR kit etc.. I find its the screen that really makes all the difference to productivity, when in the office we have 22" HD screens and I find them limiting to the speed at which i can get things done, the 43" ultrawide gives me a lot of space to see multiple bits of info and really makes a difference.
How seamless is it to run multiple screens/windows on the ultrawide? Do i have to manually adjust the size of each window to put them next to each other? Or can I put it in multi-screen mode, so it works exactly as having 2 or 3 screens (just without bezels)?

Riko42, those arms aren't meant for consumer purchase man, it's made more for company purchases where one they don't care as much about price and second, they buy in volume thus reducing price of the actual item...
Awesome setup! You gotta explain how you setup your external graphical unit and how you use it for video editing. That thing looks pretty awesome and I have never seen that before. Thanks for making this video!
Do the speakers chose to power save based on signal volume like traditional analogue amps with power saving? Or is it by the number of output streams? If it's the later, you can probably keep them awake with a simple app that is constantly/regularly playing silence.
For the speaker, you can always have a lofi or something like that playing at volume 1(lowest but more than 0 ) so they don't go to sleep and you won't even know it's there

@@abhinavkrishnacs haha .. you beat me.
V cool b roll
the audio of your video is excellent. Really very good.
Hello i'm new here !!!!!! that's my dream set up
I knew I would enjoy this once I saw the custom keeb broll
Imagine if we play minesweeper across the screen on hard difficulty
Finally! Nice work, Aral! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hahah thanks a lot my man! Hopefully more to come soon 😅🔥🔥
I love Orlando! Such a fun and vibrant place!
Can you make a video of this building process
No matter how cool your gadgets are, if you can't work laying down, then your butt and back will still be screaming.
Finally someone understood my pain though
1st question - why are you using a keyboard without the F keys? I mean I constantly use alt + f4, f12 for the inspector, etc useful keys?
2nd question - how do you distribute your window space? I mean I saw you have you IDE opened to the left-most part of the screen, then you have 3 other windows opened or?
f1-12 row is altered with fn+num row
This is expectation
Where is reality
Thanks Aral. This video inspired me to update my Work from home set up and purchase of a 49 inch Samsung monitor. I already had the KRKs so your video really hit the nail on the head!. Unfortunately the Humanscale arm wasnt available here is australia but i got the Ergotron HX and its doing the job perfectly. It would be great to see how your setup is doing 1 year on! Peace
Wow....
My WFH setup is Dual monitor Raspberry Pi 4....
BEST INTRO EVER!
What song is that?
Productivity tip #1: Be rich
I dig your set up bro!!! a little confused...aren't the Krk's powered already? what's the amp for?
amazing. nice setup and i just couldn’t but subscribe when i see “999” subs 😂
Very impressive setup. How do you connect Monitor ? To Laptop or Stationary desktop? (I mean to ask what kind of desktop do you use) Thanks.
NIce stuff, don't think I can afford anything close. LOL.
Work hard and you will be able to afford it or something better than it one day
@@rajus.deshpande9847 thanks. i understand what you are trying to say..still,
What a dream workspace
people will have a setup like this and still coding
print("Hello world")
In C language. 🤣🤣
Superb! Buddy this is a killer setup
Wow, 500$ for a Monitor Arm? My 80$ arm works perfectly with my 49 " Monitor is more flexible. No clue why someone would pay 500$. What makes that thing worth so much?
And what arm would that be?
@@thehoomstead712 what you mean man, did you even watch the video? It's all there...
Riko42, those arms aren't meant for consumer purchase man, it's made more for company purchases where one they don't care as much about price and second, they buy in volume thus reducing price of the actual item...
I think your home productivity setup is so cool !!
This video screamed " you are POOR" to me ..on so many many levels
You need to think like a monk.
Awesome setup! You gotta explain how you setup your external graphical unit and how you use it for video editing. That thing looks pretty awesome and I have never seen that before. Thanks for making this video!
Definitely a great topic to cover! Added to my list
Turn down the intro music.
Do the speakers chose to power save based on signal volume like traditional analogue amps with power saving? Or is it by the number of output streams? If it's the later, you can probably keep them awake with a simple app that is constantly/regularly playing silence.
I love 60% Keyboards but I think they are not productive at all. Change my mind
I work in finance. Numeric keypad is a must for me. Even without a numbers job I wouldn't want to work without my numeric keypad.
For the speaker, you can always have a lofi or something like that playing at volume 1(lowest but more than 0 ) so they don't go to sleep and you won't even know it's there
