Nice Bible i bought a Mac Arthur study NKJ version last year.it is a great Bible. but i wish i was in NY to order the ASB . his Bible has lots of teaching notes. I really need to get one at the sale price now. God bless Pastor John MacArthur.
I think you mean Holy Spirit. Yes I agree to a point. But we have to remember he is a man and these are his opinions and the notes are not the same as the Word of God which is written by the Holy Spirit. Notes are fine but remember the Word of God comes first.
Great Review!! How much greater this study Bible if you agree with 99% with the teacher of it! John MacArthur as far as I am concerned it the best Bible teacher I know. This man has proven to be faithful for years and years of enduring ministry. He truly is a gift to the body of Christ in our day. Just ordered mine yesterday with Amazon for 137. 08.
Jay Sanders- thanks Jay - Study Bibles are written by men - not God. I like John, just don’t agree with him on everything. That doesn’t mean he is not a good teacher. Heck even the teachers I like I don’t agree with them all. There are some people who can’t stand him - hence they negative reviews. We can learn from all as long as it lines up with the Word of God. And my not agreeing with him on all points doesn’t take away this awesome study Bible. Blessing.
Everyone has a personal opinion. I was not rude or mean or negative in my review. I actually got hateful messages from viewers who do like him at all. I prefer a Study Bible done by a group of people instead of one teacher. You asked me what I disagreed with him on. I’m not a Calvinist. So there is that. I like him just don’t agree with him. Everyone has a right to their opinions. You however seem to have a problem with my reviews and I am sorry I seemed to offended you. I try to focus on the way the Bible is made and the information in it. Most seem to like what I do but I know I can’t please everyone.
