Why have I not gone and relooked at the NIVSB update? Impressive with no bleed thru- every bible I own from the 2010 , even very inexpensive bibles from this past decade bleeds thru . I generally do not read from the NIV, but this review makes encourages me into thinking of purchasing this bible.
Wow look at those Maps. They don't run into the gutter. What a beautiful Bible thank you for sharing that with us today. Especially the twistable and the markings that you made that's very insightful that you would share that
I can see that there is allot more color than in the previous version but does anyone know if rather or not there are any significant additions to the commentary notes?
This is totally different. This is the original NIV study Bible. The notes are totally different from the theology Bible. This is for the general public and not somebody who is a theology major or somebody who is wanting to learn more about theology. This is the best selling NIV study Bible that they make.

Excellent review! I just got my copy last week. Mine has a Navy and tan Leathersoft cover. I agree, this is a superior study Bible in every way.

Beautiful review :o). I'm gonna put this on my xmas wish list or save up money, the leathersoft covers are still a little high.

Yes. When they made the NIV 2011 they added color. This time as it says it is FULLY REVISED - the whole Bible.
