Great video! I'm not one to jump on every new trend because I know my body and what works for me. But I do check them out and sometimes find things that I love. I've been embracing the big sleeves look for quite a while and love it. And after years of skinny jeans, I have switched to straight leg jeans and given my skinnies away. I wasn't sold on the baggier style jeans because I am petite. But, I was curious and tried on a pair of Levi's ribcage. So glad I did! I am sold on this look and purchased another pair in a different wash. Ladies, I have learned to view the new trends as something fun. Try what you are interested in and leave the rest. You are your own closet curator.
Fast-fashion trendy items are usually in synthetic fabrics, too, which are neither comfortable nor environmentally-friendly. A good example is the sheer-fabric trend, I haven’t seen a single piece like this that isn’t 100% polyester.
Loved this one too Leoni! I take a look at trends to see how I can easily update my wardrobe for the season, choosing trends that can mostly be duplicated by shopping my own closet, trends that appeal to me and that I know will suit my style and figure. I use it as a source of inspiration. I enjoy putting my outfits together. Typically, I look at footwear, as it is the easiest way to style any outfit to match the current trends. Some seasons, none of the trends thrill me and I pass, also I continue to wear things from past trends that I like and that suit me well. I think there is a way to incorporate some trends without falling victim to them. Therefore your two videos about loving trends and this one about trends may not be for everyone are both useful. For me, it is not one or the other, it is both.
Love all the points you make! If it isn’t fun there is definitely no point and I really appreciate what you said about confusion and clutter, so important to stay true to ourselves, take into account our body types, and lifestyles. I used to really stress myself out over what I thought I was supposed to own vs. what truly works for me and appeals to me. Also couple of friends introduced me to second hand shopping about ten years ago and I have saved so much money and sanity! 💜💜
As someone who loves fashion and thinks of it as a form of personal & creative expression I tend to casually keep up with the trends to a point. Typically I pick & choose which trend I’ll indulge in. Over the years I’ve found that most trends are not really new or groundbreaking but cyclical. I often already have the trend right in my closet. LoL. Other trends tend to be throwbacks of vintage looks or styles and then there are those that are way too youthful that you know will die a quick death. I tend to pick and choose which trend I’ll indulge in if there’s some personal appeal, otherwise I simply rely on my own personal style or inspiration from other stylish folks.
Hi Leoni, follow the trends you like try to thrift them or consignment. Everything else buy quality classy something you could wear for years to come . I even thrift purses and antique jewelry. Unless it’s pearls or diamonds. Since my vibe is boho chic, I love comfort and monochromatic. I add fun shoes, scarfs, fun belts, bracelets or fun earrings, never both, lol. I have loved fashion since forever, through the years I found me! I love it, super easy to get dressed. Be creative in your closet, have fun and always always own it , confidence is essential! Omg , no never compare yourself , we are individuals for a reason . GOD doesn’t make mistakes. One more thing , keep you mani pedi and hair intact! Always appreciated your videos 💕
Being 54 years old, I am pretty confident in my own style. However, I do love your videos and always eager to know what’s “in”. Then I decide what trends will suit me - biker shorts (out), ripped jeans (out), square toe shoes (out), polka dots (definitely in), yellow/grey hues (yes, please), Bermuda shorts (yes), etc. I don’t take fashion trends for “I have to have them all”. And, again, with experience, there comes a feeling what trends will stick and those that are very short lived. It’s fun, actually😉. So, Leone, keep those videos coming. I appreciate your expertise and guidance 😉👍🏼
Hi Leonie, as you know/say many of us over a certain age/weight etc. are trend averse. As a young "50+ plus," I have gone back to classic style. However, to stay current, a modern haircut, trend colors, modern jeans, shoes, jewelry styles, etc. can help. I buy nice, quality or trendy items secondhand.
I’m 57 & I’ll ALWAYS be interested in fashion. However, I DO hv a clear sense of what does & what doesn’t work for me. You gave a lot of good advice. For those who prefer just dipping a toe in current fashion, AND are concerned w/ the environment, I strongly suggest looking into purchasing vintage & secondhand pieces & accessories from online sites like newly arrived to many markets: POSHMARK or TRADESEY. For instance, if just 1 million people purchased their next item of clothing secondhand, we’d save 6 million kgs of carbon pollutants from entering the atmosphere (& the items to be found on for example POSHMARK, can be absolutely on-trend, OR my favorite: high-end, designer-vintage & are of amazing quality NOT found today & STUNNING 👌🏽‼️), AND it’s a fun, unique way to add individual style to your wardrobe at much more palatable prices. Fashion is ALWAYS cyclical, so the right vintage pieces find a spot in every “new” wave of trends ✅👍🏽 Thanks Leonie! 🌻💕⭐️
I just adore your channel- I’m in DEN, Colorado, USA. THX again!! Saving up for those cool Frank kicks you introduced me to!! I hv an obscene collection of trainers!! My current favs are Aquatalia (but always get on deep sale on GILT 👍🏽) Also loved yr Teddy bag! White was a great choice! 💕👍🏽
I couldn't agree more. Those are really good reasons why we shouldn't fallow fashion trends, but then I did agree with the previous video why we should actually fallow them. I guess there are always some advantages and disadvantages for fashion trends🤷♀️ I'm quite fashion orientated and I do appreciate new trends, but sometimes it can be exhausting and I wish all the options were trendy all the time so we could truly wear what we like and don't buy more.
Your'e right I follow brands I like and have brought in the past, then see their up date on style as the months, years go buy. And they may look a little trendy too. Also, I remember lavender was a popular color in many brands in the recent past, but today it's more pink, and blush, maybe honey and Khaki. It's all good.
The reason I follow fashion trends. I used to watch fashion television as a teenager . I’ve always been really curious about it . Plus it’s really fun thing to do with the pandemic lockdown. It’s very affordable with chic me and really fun styles great way to experiment with . I get most of my trend info from you .
I love to look at fashion trends hence I love your channel. However, I can barely follow them due to my body shape and age. I always admire those who can develop their own unique styles. I'm working on it!
I'm a big girl so a lot of trends would look ridiculous on me, however, I do take inspiration from trends and, whether it's a colour or a style I know is right on me, I do add new pieces each season. Your trend videos inspire me and I always look to see what Anne Weyburn is doing this season as I buy a lot of her pieces.
I think it’s ok to be aware of what’s trending in terms of style....however, for me at least, most trends are geared toward the younger generations. As a 65 year old woman I want to look sophisticated and age appropriate. There are also physical limitations as we age.....no one needs to see my midriff, my knees or my cellulite.....I’m sure some folks are more comfortable with their sagging, jiggly parts, but it’s not for me. I went shopping yesterday and didn’t manage to find one thing.....not even shoes. What I’m seeing for the Spring/Summer season in the US is a ton of crop tops, high necklines with tons of ruffles and puff sleeves....baby doll silhouettes with ditsy floral prints....not one thing looks sophisticated or appropriate for me. I managed to order a few simple tops last week and have determined that what I have is going to be good enough for the season!
I love fashion, but honestly, fashion does not always love me back. So many things just sit in my closet unworn, like a reminder that I need to slow down. Also, your plants look so great! There's something that can love me back, even if it's only a little.
Hi Leonie! You look great in white. I love white because it makes complexions look warmer. Cute little bag, too. And yes, fashion trends are expensive if you follow them to a T. Best to add some trendy pieces to an already more permanent wardrobe. And I agree on the adverse impact of fast fashion on the environment. People don't realise how flooded is the world with clothes. Even the developing countries can't keep up with clothing donations.
My outfits tend to combine something that's trending, along with classics I already have. I'm pretty keen on knowing what will soon trend out, and either don't buy those items, or find a less expensive dupe that doesn't look inexpensive.
I think there is a real balance. Since what people wear over time has radically changed over the centuries it is proof we all conform on some level. I think most important it function. We are not going to wear the same outfit hiking as we would to a festive occasion. What we wear is a form of self expression. For me I like to have fun with my clothes so I like to look at trends and then pick and choose how to express those in what I wear. Usually I already have things that work and I can just style them in New ways. I have a very casual life so I love to use color and accessories to change things up. I also love to have timeless pieces that can be the backdrop of those trendy things. what I wear can change my mood, so I try to add some fun to every outfit.
I thought you said about 4 videos ago that it’s good to follow fashion trends in order to stay updated. Oh okay, this is the opposite video. Fashion trends are adorable. They keep things interesting. Even if I don’t buy them or chase them, it’s fun to see the shop windows with innovative designs. 😊
I like to be aware of trends in fashion so I can be a better informed consumer & pick & choose where I invest my money. I've always like vintage or vintage inspired clothing & that is an aesthetic I will never lose. There are certain cuts, prints & styles I really like & when they're available I want to know so I can purchase them. I think what people mean when they say they don't follow trends is that they pick & choose which trends they will follow :)
Yes! All of the points. I am learning to buy better materials that can last me significantly longer. Also, I am keeping trendy clothing. I’ve learned that it’s only a matter of time until they roll right back around. Loop back around to buying clothes made with better materials.
I don’t follow fashion trends as to always adding new stuff but I like to keep current. Buy wisely and buy quality in everything. Better to have 1 really well made than 10 cheap ones that fall apart and get thrown out. Quality means well made not necessarily expensive. You are a wealth of info thanks🦋🌸
The balloon, baggy jeans are made for me, so have bought a few. Since I’m broke af, I can’t follow trends blindly, so I only buy those I really like and which fit me
I'm interested in trends because I want to get inspiration. I don't buy anything only because it's in fashion. Watching fashion helps me to decide what's ridiculous and what's flattering. I've always had a tendency towards timeless pieces but I think the older I get the more important is to incorporate current items to achieve the same level of chic. Sometimes it's good for my soul to challenge my style comfort zone.
Oh I love your take on it Ragana - it's definitely good for my soul too to challenge myself out of my style comfort zone. Thanks so much for sharing :)
I clicked on your fashion trends video because I appreciate your point of view but I definitely am changeable and can be feeling a mode that may not be a trend ⭐️
I always have an issue with "the next It-bag". They are expensive and out the next season. So when it comes to keep track on trends, I just refuse to participate in that ratrace. I either invest in classic timeless leathergoods pre-loved, or vintage bags from the charity shop. My collection is very curated, by now I have a style for every occasion. And I always get compliments, also from my rich friends.
I stopped shopping trends and only buy designer second hand now. I still have to save to buy designer but I must say it's so much better for a number of reasons
Mostly on Therealreal. . Some people have had bad experiences with fakes but I really only pick up clothes and always read the description of the item where it tells you what condition the item is in and keep your standard high , like condition: very good and above
No problem one more tip is if you know you can't afford the newer items from the designer on TRR set your seach from lowest to highest in terms of cost..it helps
I think what you ment is - everybody has a head on their shoulders, so it is up to them to decide if a particular fashion trend suits them, if they can afford it, if they will feel good in it. So I agree when you say the coin has two sides! Not everything in this world is black and white! 😘
Following trend is not only pricey but also we have no place in the wardrobe... I know that classics long coat can even look outdated if it's 10 years old. So we can shop every 5 years (for expensive outers: puffer this year, jacket next year etc.) and catch up but we can't just have everything all at once. We need to pick and choose!
I think even people who don’t follow trends like to know what the trends are. I pick and choose. I do think it’s good to know what’s in/out so if you’re wearing something dated at least you’re aware that you’re going against the trend. .
Trinny of London says before you buy think of 10 things you could wear it with, good way to stop and think before you buy. Love your videos nice to see someone from NZ
I pick and choose, some years and seasons have nothing for me, and others have a goodly number of silouettes and colors that I can embrace that fit my body and life. I am so happy to see tiered dresses, wider leg jeans, and pastels this time 😁
Im using trends to purchase something for my long term wardrobe. For example, I love olive/khaki colour and Im happy when its trending, because then I can choose from many items 😀 Same for corsettes, bralettes and other unusual things. I have pieces that are even 10 years old but those are in a good quality and very special looking, so I can style those even today and nobody will know that those are so old.. I would say, that Im making my own collection, where trends are just a tool to find something special and which suits my style.
Maybe "I don't follow trends" people who watch fashion trends video still want to know what's trending to get inspiration for their own wardrobe. Like, how to style their old pieces in new ways or if they should bring back older pieces from storage?
And I don't follow trends anymore and now that I found my style, I always have something to wear. For handbags, I have a beige and black bowling bag from Kate Spade, an all black 50s looking square bag (gold clasps), a burgundy suede the same size as your white (sale, 13$ at the Gap in 2003!) and finally a second hand white mini Longchamp
Sorry I think you missed my point here - I've said lots of times I follow fashion trends but I know a lot of my viewers don't (because they tell me) so I was trying to explore reasons why it would not be helpful to follow trends.
Thank you, Leonie, for that balance in thinking about fashion 🌜🌛 However I am in the group of 😉 I like watching your channel and be a part of it, it's cheerful and fresh.
Perfect example of what Leone’s talking about is her amazing sweater. Love it! Googled it but it’s sold out. That’s okay as a “Soft Natural” a oversized sweater like that would make me look like a block of cheese. But on Leone. So the gigantic sweater, hoodie trend, not for me🔥👏🏾😍
Oh no! Sorry about that but yes not all trends work on all of us - there are plenty that def don't work on me and like you I just move on and find something that does. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment :)
Think it’s ok to inject some new contemporary pieces to look more modern which might be a bit more youthful. Of course all within reason . Some styles scream here today out tomorrow . Being a fashion slave isn’t stylish either better to be authentic and creative xxx
Also we can be addicted to fashion, yea we all are... but spending too much and absorbed in shopping and spending too much time. I was also a victim for a while so we need to watch out :/
Love that White Teddy Blake bag like Bottega Veneta 🤍 ... I follow fashion trends that will work for me and definitely suit me 😍😅 .. I love Fashion ! 💗💖💗 And you can be fashionable without breaking the bank by buying stuff from quality high street brands 💗💖🥰 Just my two cents 😍 .. And not everyone should follow fashion trends .. you can be your own style .. 💗💗💗 .. Thanks much Leonie for sharing your thoughts 💖💓💖
I love clothes and fashion but don't follow the trends - my closets are full and I love almost everything that's in them . I agree fashion should be fun and not lead to financial ruin . The embarrassing sting of wearing a ridiculously trendy outfit decades ago is still with me and guides my fashion decisions to this day . Incorporating a trending colour by way of scarves or a blouse perhaps is about as wild I will go anymore .
@@Thestyleinsider. Leoni, you could be wearing a burlap bag and make it look great. Your smile is one of the most beautiful ones I've seen. Nice to know you are chilling...continue to take good care of yourself.🙂
I love fashion,i think its a form of artistic expression. Individual to each person. I dont follow trends per say. Im always aware of what's in but i only buy and wear what i like and makes me feel good wearing it.
I always follow fashion trends , but I choose what I like and what I avoid at any cost! For example low rise trousers, square toe shoes, v- bag ( that is what it looks like looking from the top) by Bottega Veneta are no- go for me! I always look at the material used to make those products. I love all the wide and high waisted trousers, strong colors. I view some people stuck on mid rise skinny like those stuck for 2 decades with punk- rock hairdo from 80-ties, 90-ties logos, millennials in platform shoes or low- rise bottoms aka Brittney with thongs showing above it or grunge, 2000+ Spice Girls - and you can see it every day.
The woman in the oversized white pants with the pink blouse looks ridiculous and I can't see how that if fashion. I also don't call them trends I call them seasonal focus or highlights. They are just fun pieces to add to your wardrobe and you have the cash to spend got for it.
Fashion trends are temporary. One year here, the next gone. Classic is a better way to go. Also, at my age wearing the new trends would look absolutely ridiculous. You will not see me in Combat boots, sleeveless dresses and those awful wide leg capri pants. Let the younger crowd do that...
Following the fashion only waste my energy and becoming FOMO. once you follow the trend you only waste your money and time. Instead of following the trend I would rather purchase any clothes that can be worn for long time no matter how often the trend has changed.
I hope you realized what you said: You follow trends because you are rich, don't care about environment, are smart, slim, and have great self esteem. Those who are poor, crazy environmentalists, stupid (possibly fashion victims), are fat, and have low self esteem shouldn't follow fashion trends... lol BTW, the bag you promoted IS TRENDY (Bottega Veneta inspired), not a classic bag that will last many seasons.
I'm really not sure what your point is Hana because for starters as a single mum of two I'm definitely not rich :) BTW I will enjoy wearing that bag for many years to come.
@@Thestyleinsider. You said that you love following trends and that following trends 'can be really expensive'. That was your first point as to why some people 'should stop following trends'. So when I said 'rich' I, obviously, meant rich enough to follow fashion trends. It is interesting, that this is the one thing you objected to... lol. I just commented to let you know that the video comes across WRONG and I don't think you meant it that way. If you strip it of all the fluff you are saying that those poor, interested in environmetal issues, not very smart (can't figure out their style, can't differentiate between cool and tacky...), not fashion model bodies, and with low self-esteem, shouln't follow fashion trends. On the other hand, maybe you knew exactly what you were saying and meant it as a jab at those who comment at your trend videos and disagree with you...
It wasn't the only point your made that I objected to it was the one I bothered to address and I'm not here to convert anyone to my way of thinking - I'm here to share my opinion - that's all.
@@Thestyleinsider. Sorry, my mistake. I always forget that TH-camrs usually just want followers and likes, and people to agree with them, not an open discussion.

I think there is a way to incorporate some trends without falling victim to them. Therefore your two videos about loving trends and this one about trends may not be for everyone are both useful. For me, it is not one or the other, it is both.
Thx so much Jeannette - I really appreciate your thoughtful comment 👍🏼
Love all the points you make! If it isn’t fun there is definitely no point and I really appreciate what you said about confusion and clutter, so important to stay true to ourselves, take into account our body types, and lifestyles. I used to really stress myself out over what I thought I was supposed to own vs. what truly works for me and appeals to me. Also couple of friends introduced me to second hand shopping about ten years ago and I have saved so much money and sanity! 💜💜
So true and second hand shopping is so much fun too right?
That sounds really sensible :)
Great points, we don’t have to suffer for fashion, it should be fun, or spicy! Its extra! 🙏🏽❤️
Thanks for the tips and yes comparison is not healthy for anyone :)
Thank you and yay for being the same age 👏🏼
Hi Leonie, as you know/say many of us over a certain age/weight etc. are trend averse. As a young "50+ plus," I have gone back to classic style. However, to stay current, a modern haircut, trend colors, modern jeans, shoes, jewelry styles, etc. can help. I buy nice, quality or trendy items secondhand.
Thanks for sharing!!
Fashion is ALWAYS cyclical, so the right vintage pieces find a spot in every “new” wave of trends ✅👍🏽
Thanks Leonie! 🌻💕⭐️
Great advice there Ann - thx so much for sharing 👏🏼
I just adore your channel- I’m in DEN, Colorado, USA. THX again!! Saving up for those cool Frank kicks you introduced me to!! I hv an obscene collection of trainers!! My current favs are Aquatalia (but always get on deep sale on GILT 👍🏽) Also loved yr Teddy bag! White was a great choice! 💕👍🏽
Some great points, thanks!
Thx for watching 👍🏼
I couldn't agree more. Those are really good reasons why we shouldn't fallow fashion trends, but then I did agree with the previous video why we should actually fallow them. I guess there are always some advantages and disadvantages for fashion trends🤷♀️
I'm quite fashion orientated and I do appreciate new trends, but sometimes it can be exhausting and I wish all the options were trendy all the time so we could truly wear what we like and don't buy more.
I hear you and can totally relate Roksana :)
Aww that's great to hear Janna - thank you ;)
@@Thestyleinsider. yes it’s been a fun pandemic I love fashion thanks for the great tips
@ 4'11"", I'm unable to follow the most the current trends. I do love to see the current trends.
I also like seeing the trends - even the ones that will never work for me :)
I love to look at fashion trends hence I love your channel. However, I can barely follow them due to my body shape and age. I always admire those who can develop their own unique styles. I'm working on it!
That's really interesting to hear - thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for sharing Tracy and I haven't heard of Anne Weyburn so I'm going to take a look at her now :)
@@Thestyleinsider. She's very good for larger sizes and classics
I definitely find some seasons just don't work for me and it's a win win really because I end up saving my money :)
Busbee style is another good fashion TH-camr for over 40 women. She’s in her 40s and recommends sophisticated and stylish and age-appropriate looks
That sounds like a great plan Lucy :)
I only do one or two trend pieces. 🙂
Me too :)
@@Thestyleinsider. right?... I’m in my 50’s, so I like to still feel a bit relevant 😉.
@@grenier70 exactly the same as me 👍🏼
@@grenier70 I'm 54 and really love feeling "relevant" and a little current :)
Yes I did and I wanted to explore both sides of the debate and look at pros and cons for both :)
I love trends, but I look for the most classic, less extreme versions, to get more longevity out of them.
That sounds like me too :)
Exactly! That is the way to go! Those trends are called macro trends and can refresh the style nicely! ☺️
Thanks so much Denise :)
I always will be aware of the trends and try out a few but the majority of them I'm disappointed by and don't like in the past couple of years ☹
The balloon, baggy jeans are made for me, so have bought a few.
Since I’m broke af, I can’t follow trends blindly, so I only buy those I really like and which fit me
That sounds like a great idea :)
Thanks for sharing!!
Maybe I half-way care about trends lol 💕
I always have an issue with "the next It-bag". They are expensive and out the next season. So when it comes to keep track on trends, I just refuse to participate in that ratrace. I either invest in classic timeless leathergoods pre-loved, or vintage bags from the charity shop. My collection is very curated, by now I have a style for every occasion. And I always get compliments, also from my rich friends.
Yes it's definitely an expensive trap that I refuse to get caught up in also :)
I stopped shopping trends and only buy designer second hand now. I still have to save to buy designer but I must say it's so much better for a number of reasons
Wow that's so interesting and that makes SO much sense. Where do you buy your designer pieces?
Mostly on Therealreal. . Some people have had bad experiences with fakes but I really only pick up clothes and always read the description of the item where it tells you what condition the item is in and keep your standard high , like condition: very good and above
@@misssinister7936 that’s really good to know - thanks for sharing 👍🏼
No problem one more tip is if you know you can't afford the newer items from the designer on TRR set your seach from lowest to highest in terms of cost..it helps
Great tip thx 😊
Now I do like your Teddy Blake bag Leonie 💕
My cute little puffy croissant? LOL It's very cute and a great size :)
I think what you ment is - everybody has a head on their shoulders, so it is up to them to decide if a particular fashion trend suits them, if they can afford it, if
they will feel good in it. So I agree when you say the coin has two sides! Not everything in this world is black and white! 😘
Exactly 👍🏼
Following trend is not only pricey but also we have no place in the wardrobe... I know that classics long coat can even look outdated if it's 10 years old. So we can shop every 5 years (for expensive outers: puffer this year, jacket next year etc.) and catch up but we can't just have everything all at once. We need to pick and choose!
YES! That's a great point - thanks for sharing :)
Very well said, thank you.
Thanks Jennifer :)
I think even people who don’t follow trends like to know what the trends are. I pick and choose. I do think it’s good to know what’s in/out so if you’re wearing something dated at least you’re aware that you’re going against the trend. .
Very true :)
Trinny of London says before you buy think of 10 things you could wear it with, good way to stop and think before you buy. Love your videos nice to see someone from NZ
So true Paula - 10 is a lot but it's very practical advice :)
I totally agree with you..
Thanks for your new video. But so sad to hear about the negative comments. /Marie from Sweden
Thank you and yes the sadly the negativity and nastiness online seems to go with the territory. But luckily they are in the minority :)
@@Thestyleinsider. So sadly to hear but good that they’re minority.
I pick and choose, some years and seasons have nothing for me, and others have a goodly number of silouettes and colors that I can embrace that fit my body and life. I am so happy to see tiered dresses, wider leg jeans, and pastels this time 😁
Thanks for sharing!
Yes that makes a lot of sense :)
So early! Have a nice Sunday Leonie (still Saturday here)

Hi, as I get older I can't follow all the fashion trends. Nice hair colour!
I understand and thank you :)
Love your maturity when it comes to fashion trends 👍🏽
Thanks Nelda :)
Think it’s ok to inject some new contemporary pieces to look more modern which might be a bit more youthful. Of course all within reason . Some styles scream here today out tomorrow . Being a fashion slave isn’t stylish either better to be authentic and creative xxx
Nice white purse very cute

Also we can be addicted to fashion, yea we all are... but spending too much and absorbed in shopping and spending too much time. I was also a victim for a while so we need to watch out :/
Yes it can creep up on us sometimes that's for sure :)
I totally agree!
Yes to all of that.
Thanks for watching :)
Pretty unique tips

I love fashion,i think its a form of artistic expression. Individual to each person. I dont follow trends per say. Im always aware of what's in but i only buy and wear what i like and makes me feel good wearing it.
Perfect!
artistic expression is another level or true sense of fashion , this fashion that we see on platforms is just copy paste syndrome
As i said individual to each person how they choose to style an item.
I only wear what I like not into trend unless I like it and I can afford it. I make it my own.
Perfect!
First one! 🥰
Yay congrats 👏🏼
I dont follow fashion trends I just wear what I like whatever it is even if its outdated.
Fair enough ;)
Trendy fations are only chic frumpy.
😳😂
I like to thrift if I want trendy items.
Oh I love that!
The woman in the oversized white pants with the pink blouse looks ridiculous and I can't see how that if fashion. I also don't call them trends I call them seasonal focus or highlights. They are just fun pieces to add to your wardrobe and you have the cash to spend got for it.
🍀
Fashion trends are temporary. One year here, the next gone. Classic is a better way to go. Also, at my age wearing the new trends would look absolutely ridiculous. You will not see me in Combat boots, sleeveless dresses and those awful wide leg capri pants. Let the younger crowd do that...
Fair enough 👍🏼
Following the fashion only waste my energy and becoming FOMO.
once you follow the trend you only waste your money and time.
Instead of following the trend I would rather purchase any clothes that can be worn for long time no matter how often the trend has changed.
👍👍👍🌻🇨🇦

Aren't people funny? Or not! 🤦🏼♀️
Yes and yes :)
I hope you realized what you said: You follow trends because you are rich, don't care about environment, are smart, slim, and have great self esteem. Those who are poor, crazy environmentalists, stupid (possibly fashion victims), are fat, and have low self esteem shouldn't follow fashion trends... lol
BTW, the bag you promoted IS TRENDY (Bottega Veneta inspired), not a classic bag that will last many seasons.
