Hey Kellen. If you already own a street deck. Getting a waterborne front (and back) adapter would be the cheapest and simplest option. Else i would say get the full experience of a good surfskate
I think we need to differentiate Frontside and backside turns ins Surfskating vs Surfing. Surfing has it backwards and labels them according to how your body faces the wave. This is dumb. They should be called according to how your body is turning in relation to the direction you are traveling. A backside turn should be when your back is turning into the direction of travel and Frontside when your front is turning into to turn. Surfers got it backwards. Who cares if you are facing the wave or not, that just a reference to create confusion. Lets correct this and start calling a fronside turn when the front of your body is facing the turn arc and a backside turn when your back is facing the turn arc. Much better and how it should be.
