I was on Romper Room in I think in 1973 or 1974 on KTVU. Wish my Dad had had a video cam in those days.
Charlie & Humphrey...just classic local TV, KTVU 2. I remember Romper Room.

I'd completely forgotten about them, but instantly knew that lamp was going to get broken.
Does anyone remember that POW game they used to play? I miss being a kid in the 80's!

My RR was in Black and White . Literally. I asked my mother if I could go on RR. She said , " They only allow white kids on the show" This was in 1967. I never watched it again.
Allowing white kids? You have to be a modern woke leftist. Please don't ruin my childhood
Where's Skipper Sedley?
Who is the host at 4:39 ?
where's Mayor Art??
Mayor Art was channel 4. Channel 2 had Captain Satellite. They preceded Charlie and Humphrey by about ten years.
AN CHILD NOT/ TOY-1972
I just realised -- that girl named "Gypsy Jo" -- having an ethnic slur for a name must be hard in the 2020s!
ETK-
Seems stuff similar like this aired on tv today is all Christian.
Imagine them bringing out the American flag on a kid's show these days, Ha! they are more likely to bring the rainbow flag out and celebrate "Diversity"
Without diversity, we wouldn't tolerate you. Considering that the colonists were basically people booted out of Europe's better places for wanting to live their own way, I'd think their descendants would be more welcoming to alternate perspectives that even make binocular eyesight a nice way to see the world. If you don't like where the country is headed, go back to where your ancestors came from.
Optimalillusion You are a typical libtard who has no tolerance yourself, your argument is full of so many holes I don't know where to start. The tired old line of "If you don't like this country go back to where you came from" is typical of intolerant/ignorant fools who think that no one else is entitled to an opinion (Other than themselves). MAJOR FYI, the people who left England to colonize America weren't "booted out", they were tired of religious and government repression from idiots much like yourself....have a nice day.
***** Thank you sir
