This must be a popular trail. This is the 2nd time seeing this trail this week. But I can see why...looks so much fun. Trails are smooth, different lines, and features. What more can we ask. Good riding.

It’s probably the most popular trail system since it is so wide open. Plus it’s very well maintained by Austin Ridge Riders. There is something for everyone there. Thanks!

Great ride, didn't know we ride that fast :-)

So fast you melted your pedal! I suppose things look slower from pole position. Great pace!

First time I rode MTB in Austin, I started at the Hill of Life! This seems like a much needed break from that.

Much smoother, yes. How long ago did you start? It’s possible the HOL is even rowdier now!

I’m spoiled. I snagged Adobe CC when it was on sale so this is with Premier Pro. That said, I know a ton of people use Resolve for free with great success, and the color grading is top notch. For whatever reason it never ran well on my system, regardless of if I used proxies or not.

We have a 4-6 guy group coming from Houston in a few weeks. We like to get in with yall on a ride.

Best time to do this would be Sunday morning with Austin Ridge Riders!

@@MTBATX is there a lot of no pedal sections? I saw a video from another group and it looked like there was a lot of sections where they weren't pedaling and cruising pretty good.

@@Sr.406 No, I would say that you are going to spend most of your time pedaling at Walnut instead of the other way around, but there are some flowy bits for sure.

Why do you call the obstacle before getting to it? Almost takes the fun out of it.

It's typical on large group rides when you have people of all different skill level. It's not fun when everyone has to stop because a rookie was not expecting a drop and went OTB, or when someone takes a tree to face, or when everyone has to stop halfway up a climb because it was not called and nobody left appropriate spacing for the climb.
