  • This webinar brings together three central Ohio religious leaders who are experienced in interfaith dialogue. They'll talk about how the current violence in Israel and Gaza is affecting us at home and how they are trying to care for both their immediate congregations and the broader community. Imran Malik (Safe Alliance of Interfaith Leaders/Abraham's Tent), Sharon Mars (Temple Israel, Columbus), and Amy Miracle (Broad St. Presbyterian, Columbus) share their thoughts on how to foster peace in communities at a time of general anxiety, divided understandings, and differential vulnerabilities.
Organized by the Mershon Center for International Security Studies in cooperation with the Center for Ethics and Human Values, the Center for the Study of Religion, the Department of History, the Department of Near Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures, the Melton Center for Jewish Studies, and the Middle Eastern Studies Center, all of the Ohio State University.
The views represented are those of individual participants and may not reflect the views of their associated organizations, the Ohio State sponsoring units, or the Ohio State University.
Our co-sponsors offer these additional resources to assist dialogue on the issues:
