The public opinion of call of duty has shifted massively. A trailer like this a decade ago would have been left with a
mostly positive opinion. The comment section really does tell you the state of gaming right now
A decade ago cod litterally released the most disliked game trailer on TH-cam. Since like mw3 everyone just hates on cod and shits on it then cod proceeds to be the best best selling video game every year only being second like 3 times. Nothing has changed. We just like to tell ourselves that our voices matter and many like to stand on their moral high horse about the industry then go buy the same games they criticize anyways. Rinse and repeat EVERY SINGLE DAMN YEAR.

Black Ops Cold War had 2 years of development and Treyarch had to take over in the middle to fix the mess created by SHG and Raven Software (it wasn’t Treyarch’s game at first since they had released BO4 in 2018 and BOCW was slated for 2020).
This game? It’s had 4 years of development.
