The music in this game is sublime. It fits the look perfectly, and the sound is just weird enough to sound 'futuristic ' without being too weird. Perfection
Simply one of the most amazing games I've ever played, and it's incredible if you think about how this is "just" a racing game: simply majestic in every damn aspect.
j'était gamin,j'avaiq ce jeux sur une des démos de playstation magazine...j'y jouais en boucle seulement pour cette musique,l'immersion était ouf pour l'époque, rien à envier à f-zero x,seul concurent sur nintendo 64 à l'époque
bro you wont believe how much this song reminds and vibes this song gives me, like the same instruments being used from ninja gaiden sigma 1, i used to always play ninja gaiden as a kid and always loved the songs from it, you just made my day♥
Back when i was a child i enjoyed the demo but didnt bought the game. Today im 33 and im enjoying W3. I think it was a big mistake not buying this game back in the day.
Was truly the next level of racing back in the 90s. Ironic that we're just now seeing drone racing and the grassroots of what could become the League irl.
I'm just listening to this for the first time, after only having played Wipeout 1 for the past year and a half... and this song actually rivals Messij in pure awesomeness!
Devil Dice was on the same demo disc as Wip3out. They both used the CD-tracks for music, and since Wip3out had this track on the CD Devil Dice also played it during the demo :)
I played the hell out of that demo too, trying to finish all of them perfectly with one life... And gawking at all those amazing games that I'd try to find while shopping. Damn this song is my childhood!
I remember playing the living shit out of this from the wonderful demo disc. At first I hated everything about the game, but my cousin didn't have any other games so I eventually mastered the game and will forever remember this soundtrack. I know that the studio who made Wipeout 3 is no more, but a new Wipeout for PS4 would be insane!
I think the studio was disband relatively recently. They created a PC game called red out and I think one of the old Psygnosis guy helped make a different pc game called Ballistic NG
oh man it's the very first video game music i heard even if i think this music is not that good it remind me so many thing that i alway feel like i have to listen it
Of the ones I remember: CTR, Medieval II, Wipeout 3, F1 99, This is Football, Tarzan, Spyro the Dragon (but it was a video) and a number of others. It was called Winter Releases
@Scepticide Same here! I was addicted to the Devil Dice demo for a while, but forgot about it for many years. I wonder if there's a rom for it somewhere... Or maybe I could buy it online some day. In any case would be really nostalgic to play it again. xD I'm really glad i found wipeout 3 too, i just got it at random in a box with cheap ps1 games. And I've come back to it many times, it's had a big effect on my taste in music and entertainment.
If anybody knows soundstracks like Wipeout 3 had back then, comment to me immediately. Best soundtracks, best style was back to 90's, (Quake and so on).
Having heard this for the first time, I still find it very difficult to believe this track came from a PS1 game, I'm curious, when did this game come out? This track appears well ahead of it's time
Guys, imagine this: Wip3out is a movie or anime, the race is going on, with this song playing all across the race track and the guy at the last place flicks a few buttons, once this song starts building up. The engines start roaring and igniting more intensely. As soon as the climax of the song starts, he blasts forward, passing all the other crafts. The public goes haywire, and the screens and speakers glitch, once he passes the finish. Nice idea for a scene, right?
@WeirdBrainGoo - Its ironic you say that, I collect PS1 games myself and I give a good price for them. If you ever considering selling what you got, let me know. :) Also I totally agree, awesome game! xP
I have this game on my Wii called FAST Racing League. I think Shinen copied the idea of this game. But still, FAST Racing League is still a cool game to play.
The music in this game is sublime. It fits the look perfectly, and the sound is just weird enough to sound 'futuristic ' without being too weird. Perfection
It's Pootisbird!
*if you are watching this you have a very good musical taste!*
and if you know this game then you have a very good taste in games!
@@Oofus21 yeah fam we good 😎
I played that demo until the disk physically would not spin.
CaptainHoers I annoyed my family by endlessly playing this music
Simply one of the most amazing games I've ever played, and it's incredible if you think about how this is "just" a racing game: simply majestic in every damn aspect.
Me too.
What a game, probably the best Wipeout ever for my money.
Why do I get deja vu hearing this? I’ve literally never played WipEout. Don’t worry friends, I plan to purchase a copy in the near future
I have three WipEout games now. That escalated quickly

this song got me trough my childhood, thanks for the memories.
This will always be known as the Devil Dice theme song to me!
After 20 years i finally found the song of my first ever demo disc for psx... thanks for bringing back in me sweet old memories :')

DedexMan DM Rawkit!
shyguy778 Racing games from the 90s (especially PS1 games) had crazy techno soundtracks. this game came out around 1999
I discovered this game as a demo -- on a demo disc from McDonalds.
@ApteryxTheRainWing Yep. The disc also had Alfred Chicken, Gran Turismo 2 and Vib Ribbon on it.
I adore this track so much
I remember this one from the demo! This is the best one :D
This song plus the Stanza Inter racetrack = good times.
Insanityltself: DJ Sasha xpander.

lol well even so, it sounds awesome! Really catches that "new millenium" tech feel around that time
This track defines WIP3OUT
Devil Dice was on the same demo disc as Wip3out. They both used the CD-tracks for music, and since Wip3out had this track on the CD Devil Dice also played it during the demo :)
It fit Devil Dice oddly well too!
The PS1 really did have some truly incredible racing games.
I played the hell out of that demo too, trying to finish all of them perfectly with one life... And gawking at all those amazing games that I'd try to find while shopping. Damn this song is my childhood!
Best song. Period.
Was this also used on a trailer? Or tekken 3? I remember this one but not for wipeout tbh
It was used for the trailer of Tag Tournament on the first Official UK PlayStation 2 Magazine demo disc.
One of those games that was worth as much as a music CD as a game disc
Was looking for this track in particular. Ah the Wipeout series has had some FIRE music hasn't it my friends
You got that right!
I remember playing the living shit out of this from the wonderful demo disc. At first I hated everything about the game, but my cousin didn't have any other games so I eventually mastered the game and will forever remember this soundtrack.

WipEout Omega Collection is coming to PS4 (I think). Not sure what's contained therein, though
Fortunately there are many successors that came out recently.
I think the studio was disband relatively recently. They created a PC game called red out and I think one of the old Psygnosis guy helped make a different pc game called Ballistic NG
@@rowangallagher4579 Ballistic NG is really good, it's as good as psygnosis wipeouts , i would not recommend red out, the gameplay is horrible.
Q I play tons of BNG, even play multiplayer Monday every Monday.
I love this game so much
Fantastic this song makes me so happy, wow!
My favourite.

Oh my gosh... I have that *exact* PS1 demo disc! I remember playing it years ago.....
The f-zero GX vibes are strong here
Awww yeah, the demo cd!
Was it the one with CTR, Destrega and Spyro on it?
I think it also got Devil's Dice and Tony Hawk, and some others...
Ah yes, Destrega was so good
This game played so much better than 1 and 2097. It may not have the same epic soundtrack but it was so much more fun to play.
3 2 1
GOOOOOO!!!!
I bet anyone $10 that no one thought this would actually go well with Adrenaline Horror from Half-Life until they saw this comment
is like a prodigy very nice i love!
Psygnosis must have absolutely loved this track because its also in Rollcage Stage II on pc.
+Kynak Sergal what really? this is amazing
It was on the PC version of Rollcage???
Imaginary Forces is pure fire tho

this one of the best songs on this game ^_^
3,. 2,. 1,. GOOOOOOHHH!
memories
This is always a Rollcage Stage 2 track to me first
@WeirdBrainGoo - Woot! Awesome game. Never could find the full game though. O.o
ps1 had CD audio so many ps1 titles, including this, had proper soundtracks with real artists.
If anybody knows soundstracks like Wipeout 3 had back then, comment to me immediately. Best soundtracks, best style was back to 90's, (Quake and so on).
topi ilmasti I know I'm two years late but check out some of Nervous Test Pilot's work.
The various Command And Conquer games have always had really good soundtracks
Jet Set Radio got me big-time, even if it was from 2000.

thumbs up if you first listen this music on the demo cd
Ugggghhh! This game!❤️❤️

i agree
Second to Lethal Cut on the Wipeout 3 soundtrack.
i kick ass in wipe out when this rocks:-D
Never understood why this was the song that played on the devil dice demo.
Basicly, using my Feisar around Stanza Inter & Manor Top
Quel très bonne musique et jeux dommage que l'éditeur n'est pas eux là riche idée de ressortir se titre avec c'est bonne vieille musique sur nex gen
I think of this too much while playing hockey
I like to think that this inspired the Matrix
This is legal heroine now.
cool

yes it's
Where do I send the money to make a Wipeout movie happen? ;)
😌👌💗
1:09 Yup
Always associated this music with Devil dice beacuse of that demo
@Scepticide OMG I remember that too!
this is better with the game's girl voice!
@Scepticide No way! They're mine!
