Couple of engine options missing here. Like the 5.0 in the second gen and the 4.6 in 4th gen. 3.5 tt 5th gen , 3.0 6th gen

With the factory rev limiter moved up a bit and raising the shift points it was a fun daily for being so damn heavy squeaked like all old Ford did but that thing was fun from say a 30 roll manually holding it in fort and shifting to 2 with the overhaul off

Idk dude I hear all this talk of ford being unreliable but my dad has had a 2005 F-150 crew cab with the 4.6 Triton and it’s sitting at 260k miles and it’s probably the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever seen. Original motor and transmission, It still fires up and drives smooth everytime, it’s rusty but in legit perfect mechanical condition. We could take that thing to California from Mississippi right now confidently.
Then again my dad also babies the ever living shit out of it and has for the last 13-14 years, and he’s a mechanic so he maintains it pretty well. Maybe fords aren’t reliable for the average person but that 4.6 f-150 has been incredible to us

Don't let that first gen's time fools yas! That's a 4 door automatic with what looks like 3.08 gears, for reference I have a 1994 explorer 2 door, same 4.0 engine with a 5 speed manual and 3.27 gears and hit 60 mph in 8.9 seconds..that explorer could probably use plugs/wires & attention to a likely stretched throttle cable possibly not allowing 100% full throttle.

Funny how 3rd gen was faster then 4th gen. But WOW on the latest with the 4 cyl eco boost. Because there are 2 higher engine choices that make the latest pretty damn fast. The mid level v6 eco boost is the deal of the bunch. Obviously the ST is awesome but I think the 3.0L eco boost is the best surprise.
