    Sir during the seat testing shouldn't the valve be in horizontal position? Because even if there is any tiny leak which is in the acceptable range we could identify it easily?

    Pneumatic pressure 5.5 bar is mandatory sir? Or we can go beyond or reduce this pressure level

    Dear Sir, Why gland bolts are loosed incase of hydro testing which is not going to do when valve installed in the line in the industry?

      Gland bolts are loosened only during backseat testing to ensure that there is no leakage through the gland so that at site when the valve is under operation, gland packing can be removed or replaced without closing the valve.

    Sir , as per API 598 during shell test valve shall be partially open but your valve is fully open , can you explain why?

      During valve body or shell testing, valve can be kept partially open or full open. Requirement is, valve body and bonnet should be pressurize together.
