Detroit is REALLY hard to do, because they might be the only team of the Original Six who hasn't made an alternate, ever. Because of this, it's kind of hard to imagine up something different for them.

Fun fact, I used to play on this hockey team called the Duffield Devils and they had the same colours as the New Jersey Devils. But my practice jersey that I wore is literally the exact same thing and I love it, brings me back to the good old days. My favourite years in hockey. Awesome concept.

It was hard to do and I don't do this, but here is my full ranking, Post 2 Post style, 32 to 1; 32. Oilers (for me too much orange, maybe add striping on shoulders like Rangers roads) 31. Canadiens (brighten up red, maybe a different version primary logo) 30. Red Wings (love the feather striping, take out the black) 29. Predators (change the number font, add a little yellow) 28. Pittsburgh fan here to personally 100% approve the gray on the Pens jersey. I’d make the stripe with the bridge pattern solid gold or black with a gold separation between the white. But the steel city adding gray makes a lot of sense
As the wings fan here, take away the weird feathers in the stripe and its at the top of my list of red wings concepts. I love the logo, i love the hockeytown in the back of neck, and the black outline around the jersey is sweet. Keep it up Marley!

These are some AMAZING concepts! I loved all of them. As a Jackets fan I didn’t care for the silver at the bottom of the sleeves but love the cannon as the primary logo. Love the Minnesota “Purple Rain” tribute to Prince also. Nice touch! 👍🏼👍🏼
On the Blues jersey, you were including the blue negative space as stripes of their own when really, it's just the yellow stripes that should count. They are supposed to look like a music staff.

I work as a scree printer and I am pretty certain that what you usually call screen printed is actually sublimated. Icethetics has a video on the third jersey wave and talks about how sublimation was what made a lot of the crazy designs possible.
As a MN fan I understand why Marley did the purple, and I'm glad he/she tried something unique, but personally it didn't really gel with me. The concept and design itself wasn't bad, but when I think Wild branding I think more natural colors. The green being akin to trees and the red sky showing the sunrise/sunset. Other colors I could see potentially working for MN is brown, since the logo resembles a bear head, yellow as they already use it as a secondary color and it could be a callback to the North Stars. Though these would have to be done right of course. Also I do like the pink setup you got, and I loved the Florida concept. NHL needs more pink, purple and brown imo :)))
Wild's Concept is a Prince Tribute jersey even when Super Bowl 52 was in Minnesota in US Bank Stadium the HalfTime Show played "Purple Rain" and Justin Timberlake performed it as a tribute to Prince Who can agree with me that every pro sport teams in Minnesota wear purple, MLS' Minnesota United, MLB's Twins, NBA's Timberwolves, WNBA's Lynx, and the Wild even a North Stars purple jersey

Columbus was AMAZING. The Ohio state outline on the numbers, the neck saying “For those about to rock” in homage to one of their goal songs (AC/DC’s “For Those About to Rock.” They play it immediately after a goal and have the cannon fire as that’s literally a part of the song.) That is just amazing and you’ve clearly done your research. For my other team, Detroit, I somewhat agree with Neil. The pattern would need to be a bit less prominent I believe, but I don’t think that it needs to be *deleted*. Just make it more opaque like 25% or 50% or so and it’ll be fantastic.

For my Top 3, I would have to flip a coin as to the order in which each would rank. Simply because I pretty much dig the *Boston Bruins/Montreal Canadiens & the Columbus Blue Jackets* concepts equally. P.S. Like the colours you are using for your “brand” now much more than the old ones.

There are still a few of these that are misses for me, but I like WAY more of these than I usually do. Biggest hits: Avs, Blues and Penguins. The Coyotes jerseys is so close to being great, but there's something off about the logo. Love the stripes on the Blues on though.

The only ones I wasn't a fan of are the Red Wings and Devils. Which sucks as a Devils fan... I want a Canucks and Coyotes jersey though. Those are amazing.
1) coyotes (this and the reverse retro are the best arizona concepts ever!) 2) senators (awesome) 3) capitals (classic) 4) penguins (love the grey) 5) sharks (love that color) as a panthers fan since they started, as a miamian... no... the panthers should NOT do the miami vice thing. at least not with the their current logos. it's awesome on the heat, the marlins do a similar thing and it's damn nice, inter miami has those vibes and it's damn nice on them too but it has not been done right by anyone for the cats. the closest has been the pink panther on luongo's helmet, that's it.
people wear the blackhawks st. Patrick's day jerseys all the time. the reason we want black blackhawks is cuz all of the best alternate jerseys we use are black, especially the black and white winter classic jersey. that Edmonton jersey looks like a dreamsicle
Detroiter here, I have never seen a good Wings concept in all your videos. I’d love to see a cool one, but no one has been able pull it off. I know us Wings fans can be stingy when it comes to our “tradition” but I’m all for a cool creative concept.
Been busy going to give my opinion on 'Canes Concepts and go back through some other ones. With that said. This one is very well done. With that said here is my opinions on some tweaks as a 'Canes fan and someone from NC. First from what you took from the flag. If you leave it like that then put the dates that are in the ribbons on them. If not and you use the flag logo the 'Canes use if used right I can live without them in there but honestly it is something I wish was subtle the 'Canes would change and add. Next the inside of the collar. I love the Take Warning in the collar. But with the design you have not being the same colorization as the actual flags I would put the actual flag pattern in the neck behind the Take Warning script with red underline Next the logo. Love it just make the 2 warning flags colored correctly. Next the numbers. Give them a red outline Lastly, personally I disagree with Neil leave the warning pattern on the bottom that size. The 'Canes road jersey has them that big and old 'Canes Jerseys do too. The only one that has it thinner is the current home jersey. So unless you want to go that route I think they are fine. With that said I'm nit picking because they are points I find important. With that said this jersey is incredible with and without the tweaks I said. I will say I think with those tweaks I could see the 'Canes use this as either a Stadium Series type of jersey or a Specialty Jersey they could use. I could see it also as a jersey the 'Canes could use if a the NHL followed the NBA and MLB in using Jerseys inspired by the city and used to connect with them. No matter a one time thing or not I could see them use it for sure! Great job Marley! Let's Go 'Canes!
That Devils concept instantly reminded me of the HC TPS jersey since they both only have black and white as the colors. That's why I don't hate it but feels like it is missing something

The 6 stripes across the torso represent the six strings of a guitar, and the 3 stripes around the collar represent the Grand Divisions

The texture on the kraken jersey is supposed to represent the trees in the region. Idk how but that's what the Seahawks said about the same print

The only ones I wasn't a fan of are the Red Wings and Devils. Which sucks as a Devils fan... I want a Canucks and Coyotes jersey though. Those are amazing.

as a panthers fan since they started, as a miamian... no... the panthers should NOT do the miami vice thing. at least not with the their current logos. it's awesome on the heat, the marlins do a similar thing and it's damn nice, inter miami has those vibes and it's damn nice on them too but it has not been done right by anyone for the cats. the closest has been the pink panther on luongo's helmet, that's it.
So I'd say my favorites are...
Hurricanes, Coyotes, Predators, Wild (just because of how different the colors are), Capitals, Canucks
The pattern on the Detroit sweater looks like netting over the posts

people wear the blackhawks st. Patrick's day jerseys all the time. the reason we want black blackhawks is cuz all of the best alternate jerseys we use are black, especially the black and white winter classic jersey. that Edmonton jersey looks like a dreamsicle

Detroiter here, I have never seen a good Wings concept in all your videos. I’d love to see a cool one, but no one has been able pull it off. I know us Wings fans can be stingy when it comes to our “tradition” but I’m all for a cool creative concept.

I live in NJ and the black and white jersey is a huge miss. The Devils are synonymous with red!
Been busy going to give my opinion on 'Canes Concepts and go back through some other ones.
With that said. This one is very well done. With that said here is my opinions on some tweaks as a 'Canes fan and someone from NC.
First from what you took from the flag. If you leave it like that then put the dates that are in the ribbons on them. If not and you use the flag logo the 'Canes use if used right I can live without them in there but honestly it is something I wish was subtle the 'Canes would change and add.
Next the inside of the collar. I love the Take Warning in the collar. But with the design you have not being the same colorization as the actual flags I would put the actual flag pattern in the neck behind the Take Warning script with red underline
Next the logo. Love it just make the 2 warning flags colored correctly.
Next the numbers. Give them a red outline
Lastly, personally I disagree with Neil leave the warning pattern on the bottom that size. The 'Canes road jersey has them that big and old 'Canes Jerseys do too. The only one that has it thinner is the current home jersey. So unless you want to go that route I think they are fine.
With that said I'm nit picking because they are points I find important. With that said this jersey is incredible with and without the tweaks I said. I will say I think with those tweaks I could see the 'Canes use this as either a Stadium Series type of jersey or a Specialty Jersey they could use. I could see it also as a jersey the 'Canes could use if a the NHL followed the NBA and MLB in using Jerseys inspired by the city and used to connect with them. No matter a one time thing or not I could see them use it for sure! Great job Marley!

That Devils concept instantly reminded me of the HC TPS jersey since they both only have black and white as the colors. That's why I don't hate it but feels like it is missing something
