    Hi Pan I will be using Avalon King on my Ford F150 truck and am looking at using Bristol trim coat/Cockpit Car Re newer on the plastic trim so my question is, can I use that product or another and then also use the ceramic coating over it. And if i use the ceramic coating on the trim, does it appear glossy? specifically speaking of the trim between the driver and passenger windows.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically the short answer is no. Trim coatings already contain protection (I don't know the Bristol one though). But a trim restorer or ceramic coating won't necessarily make the trim appear glossy, but it will make them look newer and richer (better looking). A good trim coating/restorer is this: amzn.to/3DFc6q7
      You won't need to apply protection on top of that after using that kit.

    • @PanTheOrganizer

      The majority of drying aids eventually coat the microfibers and make them less absorbant over time, as they usually have some protection. Hence why it’s important to wash the towels immediately after use with a quality microfiber detergent like P&S Rags to Riches.
      Or use a drying aid with zero protection like a rinseless wash (ONR, McKee’s N914, etc).

      Bead Maker is also a good choice. Just keep in mind those two only last a few weeks. So regular application is key.
      Dream Maker is awesome for gloss, but it adds no protection. It will only last one week or until your next wash. You would still need to add a proper protection topper once a month.

      Dream Maker is not to be used as a drying aid. It's made to be applied no dry paint. But you could mix it with Bead Maker in a 1:10 ratio and then use that as a drying aid. See my video on the special mix here: th-cam.com/video/twuTd2VNlxw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IaN_bqYNo7DuSNcQ

    In my mind (in theory), I like the idea of beadmaker not being a 6 month product in that I use it as a drying aid after every wash. So, durability isn't as much of a concern as whether or not a product starts to "build up" and cause issues from that perspective.

      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Out that’s not a good thing at all. Bead Maker isn’t made to clean a car. So most likely you pit some swirls and scratches in the paint…
      Next time you wash your car, use a proper shampoo. When you’re done washing and drying, see if the paint needs to be polished to remove the damage you might have caused.
