Poor Joel...... The tree convo that Bonnie didn't even consider that Joel could be right with when the trees went in and him telling her to mark the summer fun list differently and the death glare she gave him. Bonnies world and they are just living in it....
Bonnie & Joel, while it might be upsetting for the kids, I’m really glad you put your foot down at times & didn’t go on one of your trips due to naughty behavior. I did the same thing with my kids. While it broke my heart at the time, I knew that they’d learn that mom & dad don’t reward poor behavior but absolutely have a great time when they behaved well. My kids are now older & when I talked with them about those days, they told me they secretly were so angry at me b/c of what I did , now that they’re older they completely understand why parents make those choices. My oldest told me “how else do you raise a well rounded person?”. I almost cried when I heard this! It really does work. Keep up the great work teaching YOUR kids the lessons YOU want them to learn. Love you so much !!

The shade of your new grey Bollie bathrobe is beautiful on you, Bonnie. Your yard is lovely. You chose a wonderful time of evening to catch the shadows from the trees. I know it's a strange feeling packing up and giving away toys but it sure feels good afterwards.
Yep I was there when those trees went in; I am always so envious of your yard and hubby and I are trying to re-landscape our yard to include more grass for the kids and i showed him yours and he loves it.

Omg i didn't know you had the robe in grey!!😍 Perfect for fall/winter!🤗 Aw i went through my kid's toys a few weeks ago and i was in TEARS!😢 i kept all the baby toys my kids all grew up with and donated the one's they didn't want😭 baby clothes i would never throw away though, i keep everything!🙈 love the mess in your home!😉😘

It's so bittersweet to see those baby toy's go! ♥ I have been here since before Bonnie was even pregnant with Lincoln. I was here when Boston was Lincolns age!! It's so crazy how time flies. ♥ Love you Bonnie.
I love watching Lincoln hang out in his big onesie. My almost two year old is constantly in a onesie because he will NOT keep his hands out of his pants otherwise 😂😂.
i hope you keep this summer fun lists and date them so in years to come the kids can look back and remember all the fun things they did!
I hate getting rid of baby toys too. I mean I like the clean feeling and everything organized, but sad.

Bonnie, I only have one child and when we went through all his baby toys and got rid of them my heart sank too. They don't stay little forever! But I have to say it was cute seeing Lincoln get upset about the one toy he wanted to still play with.

I can’t wait to make lists with my kids when they get older. I love that you all have had bucket lists for your summer.
I saved some of my favorite toys (or the kids favorite) and saved them for grand babies. Now that I have grand sons it’s fun to see them using them and brings back memories. I also did that with a few of my favorite outfits for them. It’s fun to dress my grandsons in some of their daddies baby clothes that he wore and at least get a matching picture.
I love how your house is always loud I hate silence but with that many kids silence must be good once in a while
"That's what everyone says to surprise visitors" I send surprise visitors away sometimes if I haven't done the dishes 🤦♀️😂 I miss dishwashers...you can hide dirty dishes in it quickly and run the load instantly lol
For us to have some calm weeks we do one week of only day trips. Things my brother and I pick to do. We went to a cottage, water park, trampoline park, fair, pool, island and a friends house. It lets us do dun stuff but have some calm easy going weeks

Oregon you didn’t miss much because we had smoke from July till resent! Like over 100 fires! My kids didn’t get a summer due to very toxic air quality!!!!!🧡🦋🙏🌺🧡 maybe next summer🙏🙏

I’m having a hard time giving away my baby boys toys like his swing for example. His dad is fine with it, but my mommy heart isn’t ready... I have to take it a lot slower than him. It’s hard watching them grow up so fast! Love you Bonnie 💕
I'm starting to clean our their toys as well since Christmas is coming soon and they will need space for new things. I donate their toys hopefully kids that really need them get them from the donation bin

Ellie and Jared had a slip and slide and you guys played there too (9th of July vlog for anyone who wants to watch it). Not sure if it was bigger than the one at the grandparents but I remember Jared went to the store and bought a few. I also remember I wish I was there to try it lol 🙂
