  • Two outdoor flights by my now six-year-old Peck-Polymers Piper J-3 Cub clipped wing Peanut Model. The laser cut kit is still available at Peck-Polymers www.wind-it-up...

The pictures were taken with a Gopro 11 Black and a Panasonic FZ2000. For the video editing I am learning Davinci Resolve.

I appreciate that you share your flight videos with our modeling community! Also, your how to's are very thought provoking. I enjoyed the bobbin video and your prop hub using inner tube parts- just a great idea. I'm making some tools to make reverse "S" hooks this weekend. Made a nice winding stooge during the week prior.
Finally, at 62, I'm going to fly a model after 50 plus years of building..
    Thank you!

Great model and beautiful flight. I envy you the weather. Where I live we do have wind all the time so it's challenging for rubber powered models to fly.

I am in need of building another! Was my first peanut scale and did not perform well. Had some issues of not being straight. That was several years ago. Hopefully the next will be much better. Everyone needs a Cub.

Beautiful model and impressive flights! As always, you make it look easy and it isn't! Great idea to tow along your own runway and equipment!

Thanks for your comment. My friends with the big RC airplanes envy the fact that I can carry a collapsible starting strip on my bike 😁

The model is a little tail-heavy. With a slightly thinner, lighter rubber, the flight characteristics should be a little better. The trick is not to choose the rubber too thin, so that there is enough power for the table launch.

Very nice Video of your Piper. Is it a New one, or the proven one you had with you on the last Swiss ruber power Meetings?

The model is more than six years old. But the flight times are getting longer and longer 😁
