There is. You just need to drive down the coast to a place called Nyamisati and take a ferry from there.

As a solo traveler would you rather choose Mafia or Pemba island if it had to be one?

It really depends on what you want, Pemba is a bit more developed and great for snorkelling and diving
Mafia on the other hand is very rural and great for whale sharks
I really enjoyed both

Price for? In general Mafia was much cheaper compared to other places in Tanzania provided you don’t stay inside the marine park

Nice aereal shots !! I've read that you need a permit and a flying licence to bring your drone in Tanzania; did the autorithies ask any of these to you ? I'm landing over there in a month :)

Honestly they didn’t ask me but I’d still recommend going with all the paperwork and not get into trouble and ruin your holiday with police station visits 😊
