Imagine seeing Final Odyssey for the first time in theatres, Tiga Dark outta nowhere killed a girl and her mother in cold blood on-screen. That alone beats Trigger Dark in first impression due to how unexpected it was.
This probably happened many many times in the past as Dark Tiga.

I dunno but Trigger Dark's form is a lil' bit over-designed. They should less the design and black n' grey some parts rather than putting some fins and big-bulky armor. But gotta say, they really nailed it designing Glitter Trigger

While about the Glitter Trigger I kinda disagree with you. I don't know where the form color's going, it wanted to represent gold but looks more like orange. Plus those five head crest makes him kinda looks like having a lizard head...
@@randocomm i think they're trying to go for the normal gold color on the suit like that on normal gold colored gunpla..sad thing is, it doesn't shine that much unless they use a sparkling gold paint..there are many types of gold paint but getting the sparkling effect, they needed a chrome base and clear yellow to make it shine which may get ruined when the suit gets wrinkled..

Let's get it out of the way, I love how dark trigger look and still undecided on the glitter. Yes, the design was simple but the appearance of Tiga's dark and glitter form was impactful. Tiga's final odessy movie will forever be my one ultraman movie. I hate how tsuburaya prey on my nostalgia of Tiga to make me watch Trigger. The series doesn't do its predecessor justice.
Tiga is basically at the era where kid friendly still not pun on show after the downfall of Nexus and Next,Tsuburaya now mainly focus on making merch and attract younger audience to buy the merch

Agreed with your last statement. Thanks Tsuburaya for learning from your mistakes and making Decker an ACTUALLY GOOD series, right after the shit show that is Trigger.
In a way, Dark Tiga/Trigger are the representation of human's negative emotions, usually anger. It made them stronger but uncontrollable of their actions. Glitter Eternity would be even cooler if at first it didn't actually change form and only appears once he's able to control it.

I like the new spin Trigger Dark brings to the table, though I still appreciate the simplicity of Tiga Dark (not to mention Tiga’s development to the light was more interesting than Trigger’s instant transition), also Trigger’s eyes are a little weird to me with the black lines
Glitter on the other hand, while the structure is neato (do like the interesting timer), the color scheme is iffy, most is alright by why place red in but not the other colors? It just feels off, either you go the full mile with blue/purple as well or just replace the red with white or gold (or even some black if you want to make it stand out a bit) and keep the colors simple. Easily liked Tiga Glitter more.

I like tiga so much. His design has some basic yet modern of all ultra. His dark design also looks cool.

Both Dark and Glitter forms of Tiga and Trigger are unique, different, and contrasts. Seeing the last episode of Chronicle Z : Heroes Odyssey ( Episode 25 with an abbreviated version of Ultraman Tiga: The Final Odyssey ) and Episodes 11 and 12 of Ultraman Trigger ( which kicks off an electrifying month of episodes ), here are my perspectives of the comparisons.
Dark Tiga: Simplicity at its best. And yet, a sense of chaotically darkness surrounding Tiga. That side of Dark Tiga was on display when Ginga faced him in 2013, that version of Dark Tiga really show his true colors and powers more so than back in 2000.
Dark Trigger: A more sophisticated version. Sleek, dark, wicked and decadently sexy. His design reminds me of a Dark Armored Noa, in fact, it has nuances of Noa straight away ( minus the chiseled six pack abs of his ). That scene of his resurrection is bada@@, just seeing it definitely sent me shivering and quivering all over. Now that Ignis had acquired half of his powers, it'll be interesting to see the new look Dark Trigger 2.0 in action, and hopefully he'll be an ally to Trigger....and not a recurring Nightmare Opponent...and still retain that sexy look of his.
Glitter Tiga: Again simplicity with a golden aura touch to it. His powers are magnified right down to his Glitter Zeperion Beam, his form hasn't changed, but you can tell his powers are up there.
Glitter Eternity Trigger: Just like Dark Trigger, this is also a sophisticated look to him. Gorgeous hues of Red, Gold and Orange...and that... THAT timer of his, I know it's look like the Mitsubishi Motors Logo, but let's all remember here that the Central Diamond is pointing DOWNWARDS and not UPWARDS like the ACTUAL DESIGN of it, and hopefully this won't be a ultra-debacle moving forwards in the Second Half.... other than that, one glittering scorching attire of his. And there you have it. my perspectives and interpretations of the Dark and Glitter forms of Tiga and Trigger. Things are about to get glittering hot on Trigger's side, can't wait to see how everything turns out the rest of the way, besides, what's not to love about both looks 🖤💛?

ultraman tiga series always have mystery and exciting story. But ultraman trigger series hmmm...
Apparently, at some point VERY early into development, Trigger was less a full Tiga rehash, and more of an AU "What-If." The idea was that, instead of only the single Ultra surviving the initial episode, ALL THREE would've been around, creating a sort of Ruebe / Tri-Squad situation. It's why Trigger has such distinct head sculpts for each of his Types, and also why Glitter has three color timers - it was supposed to be a fusion.
You can still see shades of the early draft in the final show. Each Ultra would've had a direct opposite on the other side. Akito has a sort of rivalry with Darrgon, Ignis has a VERY specific bone to pick with Hudrum, implying they were meant the other two's civilian identities.

Tiga's glitter form is like a miracle, Trigger's is just a blatant super form. That's the main difference in treatment of how glitter is tackled.

Trigger TV was definitely lacking especially in lore, man that lore was very meh

Merch wise: Bandai has bought them now so this is just an issue with all new gen ultraman, the fact that Trigger doesn't have nearly as many as his predecessor Z already says a lot.
Design: Actually, Trigger filled up a lot of little regrets from Tiga design wise. Tiga was meant to glow with his armor while he uses Zepperion Beam, but was unable to do so because budget and technicalities. People really wanted Glitter Tiga to have it's own form instead of multi-type. People wanted a more stylish Dark Tiga to blend in better with the other 3(It is classic but it definitely doesn't blend in nearly as well as it coul've, though Dark Trigger is a bit over designed...). Sky type no longer sucks because there's budget to support it's performance. These are things I am glad they actually remembered and decided to make up in Trigger.
Themes: This makes sense as Trigger OP has eurobeat vibes, similar to Take Me Higher, this was intentional. ED2 especially feels like it belongs to Nexus even.
Transform time: Man, have you seen any other new gen ultraman, Trigger is one of the quickest for sure... It's about on par with X, Ginga, Decker, and Tiger. As said, this is just an issue of being bought by Bandai, they can't just return to one simple prop now... Seriously, R/B was actually the one who took 2 decades.

Tiga Dark never really fit into his squad. At the very least, I feel like his chest piece should've been gnarlier?
The older Tiga gets, the more he feels like a cheap cash grab. The New Gen can feel a touch over designed at times, but at least most forms are unique. Every Tiga figure ever produced automatically warrants 5-6 repaints.

Remember,Tiga Dark also has ability to absorb dark power,so he's clearly stronger than Trigger Dark pre-Ignis. But,if Ignis version of Trigger Dark,he might able to at least make Tiga Dark tired because of Trigger Dark's ability to use Kaiju hyper key. And Tiga Dark in The Final Odyssey was only half of his power. Can Trigger Dark also absorb someone's power?

I guess that trigger is more powerful than tiga. Because tiga uses his powerful glitter supperion in almost last episode of tiga.. while trigger uses the same power in episode 1.. and when trigger eternity has now aimed by trigger. Glitter supperion has more power that can conquer even the dark trigger.
For now according to ultraman wiki theres no definite answer if trigger is stronger than tiga since both are same stats and that trigger is just reboot of tiga
