It's moving quickly and doesn't allow a true beginner to grasp the information being presented. Slowing down and introducing each topic/function before diving in would have made a difference. Photoshop in 10 or 15 minutes for beginners might be more realistic for the real beginner.
The idea is to present as many features of the program in as little time as possible. A 10-15 minute video could be time consuming for someone to sift through. Plus, a user can pause and rewind the content if they missed something.

I know how to use photoshop, its basics, since I tinkered with it when I was a kid. I know the feel of not knowing where to start, but for me I found out that it doesn't matter. Just search a simple topic by yourself, such as "how to select, duplicate layer" since they build on pretty quickly and make learning easier to catch! At least I started with "how to cut" when I was learning Adobe Premiere.

The "Undo" and "Redo" functions in photoshop are totally different from any other computer program I've used. Under "Edit", it will show either "Undo" or "Redo" as an option but never both. So how would I go about toggling back and forth between changes I've made to see which version I like better?
Loved this, thank you, Sometimes when you speak its too fast and hard to understand because of you're accent, for instance in the first part of the tutorial you either said "control J, Control 8, Control A" they all sounded possible. Thanks! I've been using GIMP for ages and switching to Photoshop is annoying, this tutorial was great for learning the basic differences. I'd also like to mention that for zooming in and out, you can select the magnifying glass on the left and enable scrubby zoom in the options at the top. After doing that, you can hold space+ctrl and drag up/down to zoom in and out. Additionally, if you're zoomed in and you want to move the screen around, you can just hold space and drag across the document.

Great video , this help me a lot. I have been using a XP-Pen Star G430 drawing tablet for several years. I use it to do detail work. in Photoshop CC mostly when working with Layer Masks . photoshop is a powerful tool .
Tbh tho I am very new to photoshop, and obviously this video does not cover all the existing tools of the application, this was a very helpful vid tbh in explaining the basic concepts and stuff
