I love how she always says “good job” and focuses on the things people get right 🥺 loads of vocal coaches I’ve seen get so frustrated at mistakes. Hannah helps people grow from their mistakes and I love her for it ❤️
@@CynthiaSea me too! In college my vocal coach made me a low bass even though I’m not comfortable singing low all the time (she also made a soprano become a low alto becomes she has a strong chest voice)…that vocal coach expected me to bring my chest voice into the fourth octave to have one color throughout my range as basses due but my voice would crack and get tired out…I thought I was just a bad bass singer who couldn’t sing in “full voice”,especially when I sing higher it’s harder to use a lot of chest voice…after college I unlearned most of the techniques I was taught and now my low notes aren’t always there but I can sing higher due to learning how to mix (which I never knew about in college)
I can't sing. Like, at all. I don't intend to learn. But Hannah's teaching is just so incredible and compelling that I just love to watch! That just goes to show how charismatic and sweet she is that us non-singers are interested in her lessons! I wish I had a teacher like her, that corrects with encouragement and explaining everything step by step when I was in school.
I know you have a lot on your list already but could you consider reacting to an adorable young woman named Katherine Lynn Rose? She mainly writes songs for an avatar the last airbender musical (avatar the last airbender is a cartoon). She has some other original music, but she overall has an incredible voice that I think you would like. Love you❤️
omg YES YES YESSSS! Katherine Lynn Rose is a LEGEND!! I’ve been obsessively listening to Top of My School since it came out, and I really love her Avatar songs tooooo! I totally recommend Hannah react to her as well. 🤩
Deanna! I Had the enormous privilege working with her in Fiddler on The Roof, back in like 2012. Her rendition of “Far from the home I love” was stunning! So happy to see her doing so well for herself! I never expected this voice lesson and I live!
I learned so much in this video. I know now that I don’t need to not take in so much air on a belt and engage my core more. I also realized that I need to have more chest voice. Hannah’s teaching is so simple, yet so effective and she tells you the solution that you can understand. Hannah is also very patient and doesn’t get even a little frustrated if you don’t get it right. I love that she’s patient, helps improve on mistakes in a simple, effective way, and that even though she is focusing on a certain person when she reacts to a video, the advice she gives is still very helpful. 🥰❤️ Love you!
oh my goodness, i’m always impressed by how much hannah “makes it make sense”. everything suddenly makes sense and i just “get it”. this is a great talent i think!
i love how your letting us, your youtube followers see this. Since we can learn from this ALOT XD am starting to love learning anythint singing related again without fear :>
You should react to the songs in The Flash/Supergirl musical crossover "Duet" ❤️ *Jeremy Jordan* ❤️plays Winn. He sings in it, and Melissa Benoist (Supergirl/Kara Danvers/Zor-El) has also been on Broadway.
My vocal cords have been ruined for the past 3 months and constantly stay swollen, but I like singing a lot. I'm hoping to get voice lessons from Hannah soon to learn "sustainability" haha, because my technique is clearly hurting my throat. I love Hannah's videos because a healthy voice is her biggest concern. I try to engage my diaphragm but at the end of the day my throat is still sore.
The Bernoulli principle is actually one of the main factors in sound and pitch production and comes 100% from your breath support. Going higher REQUIRES more air because it takes more air to make the folds smaller. Telling a student that breath support doesn't matter at this level of beginning stage is setting them up to fail.
Hi Hannah, I tried to email you a question but it wouldn't send, I wanted to know if you had any advice for male singers about how to hold on a note for longer than a few seconds, ex: Shines on my faaaaace from 'For Forever'
It would be great if you saw the flash musical episode! The vocals are great, harmony between Barry and Kara is amazing and the songs are pretty catchy 😂
hey hannah! 💕 i have a super specific question and i'm super embarassed about it and you have such a welcoming energy :) when i was little i was very embarassed about my voice (early grade school) and so i never sang or paid attention in music and eventually music teachers backed off assuming i was tone deaf?? and i never sang. anywhere. not even in the shower, or in my room. because of that i really developed absolutely no musical understanding, breath control or support, no idea about pitches and rhythyms, etc. despite this i've always liked music and wished i could sing? and as i've grown up i've developed an interest in musical theatre. as such i would love to be a part of my schools theatre classes and drama clubs for the plays and atmosphere, people with similar interests etc. but i'm terrified because everyone interested in that seems to have even BASIC understanding of music and singing so i would be abused about that...is there any way to develop a decent (passable, nothing extraordinary, utterly forgettable) singing voice so that i could join theatre club/class? and if so how would i go about that? ( to top it off i am obese and i have an underbite though I don't know if that would be a big deal as it doesn't affect my speech. )
Hannah, you should react to the soundtrack of “A Week Away”!! You’re rll gonna like it, the best songs are like “place in this world” and “god only knows” (for me at least) 😘 it’s really good! 🤩
I'd love to learn to sing. I've been in choir in school. My teacher said I was a soprano, but it doesn't feel right. I don't feel like a soprano, then again I've had NO voice lessons so...yeah. But I've always felt like a mezzo-soprano. I dunno what to do.
The part you sing in choir is not always your voice type! Often it has to do with the balance of voices in your choir and if you have the higher notes compared to your fellow singers or do better with Melodies, soprano might be a better part for you in choir. That doesn’t mean you are a soprano!
Any advice or starting points or courses for someone who wishes she could sing but doesn't have a musical ear or anything? Like I can carry a tube but I don't know if I'm on pitch or not and I don't know how to become a better singer.
I really wish to know what am I, idk if I'm soprano, mezzo or alto idk anything, i just wanna know cuz even though I did get some classes, nobody ever told me wdf am i
Hey Hannah! I absolutely love you and your content, and I was wondering if maybe you could react to "Loren Allred - Never Enough (Live Performance)". The video has over 29 million views and was posted two years ago. I know you've reacted to Katrina Velarde sing Never Enough, but I thought it would be awesome to see your reaction to Loren Allred (who is the original singer of Never Enough in The Greatest Showman). Thank you for all of the amazing videos you put out!
please react to a very talented, young, and VERY underrated singer/songwriter; jxdn. he started his career when he turned 19 and already has helped millions including me through our mental issues. he’s a fantastic singer. again it’s “jxdn”
Hey Hannah, Can you please react to og3ne 😊 there version of bohemian rhapsody is amazing. If you don't know who they are they are 3 sisters from the Netherlands caled Lisa, Amy and Shelly. They became popular on a verry young age and are even more popular now. One of the three caled Amy has only one lung. They also participated in a tv show caled 'de beste zangers van Nederland' in 2016 and there they did some kind of rap in the song sing where they said one word in turns. Also a realy good one to look at😁🙃
You should watch and react to 'Cell Block Tango' from an old Miscast! Jeremy Jordan and Ben Platt are both in it! th-cam.com/video/yL9f_L-s8GQ/w-d-xo.html Also, Eric Michael Krop singing 'To Love You More': th-cam.com/video/2a9fM-mlGH4/w-d-xo.html
ok this is a little later than this video was released so i don’t know if you’ll see this but could you do anyone (live) by demi lovato? i know you do more broadway and movie stuff but i really wanna see what you have to say about this!!!

I LOVED THIS I LEARNED SO MUCH!!! Please react to Demi Lovato singing Stone Cold live at billboard women in music, it’s a GREAT performance, and I would love to see you explain all the vocal arrangements and how she did it 🤩
Would you be willing to react to anything Rent related, maybe original cast recordings or the movie. The live version would be ok too, but I’d prefer the original cast. Thanks. I really enjoy your videos.

can you teach someone who has never sang? and tone deaf... lol
I love how she always says “good job” and focuses on the things people get right 🥺 loads of vocal coaches I’ve seen get so frustrated at mistakes. Hannah helps people grow from their mistakes and I love her for it ❤️
That's my philosophy!
I swear I have PTSD from teachers making me repeat what I'm doing wrong over and over again. Definitely did not help me gain confidence lol

@@HannahBayles I am curious as to why I always default to harmonizing as opposed to just sing a song.
I have never clicked on a video so fast. IT’S A TEN OUT OF TEN FOR ME HUNNY

This song is SO DEANNA you could really see her personality shining through! (And not to mention that VOICE omg!!!!!)
Right?? It's perfect for her!
And here I am watching this video a year later when Deanna has made it to the finals of Six auditions! Growth, manifesting, talent!

MORE BRIDGERTON. Scott from pentatonix and lindsey vosk did one it’s amazing.
I did the exercises alongside Deanna and learned a lot from your corset tip.
Raise your hand if this video cemented that you want Hannah as your voice teacher! 🙋🏾♀️
LOVE HER!! Wasn't expecting this collab, it's everything!!
Last time I was this early, Catherine of Aragon was still alive

Woah small world- Deanna was a couple years ahead of me in college, she’s such a memorable person!

Loved this so much! Deanna is so amazing!!
I hope she reacts to crazy ex girlfriend songs!! They have some really cool ones in there and I think it'd be cool to watch
