Sir, You have been a great help with your previous replies on my bat face closing while playing ON side thanks for that
.............On the initial movement that i do which is back and across.... all front foot shots are played with ease no issues ........But shots on which i require to go on back foot like for cut, back foot punch, where i have to go on my back foot towards off stump i am not able to do it.........( after the initial movement i then tend to play the ball which is in off stump line or outside off stump line from my back foot at middle stump). Basically i am getting late
FOR MEDIUM PACERS
My guard is right foot on leg stump and left foot slightly away from leg stump and initial movement is back n across towards middle stump
FOR SPINNERS
My guard is back foot on middle stump and the initial movement is just the front foot forward press

During trigger movement of back and across your body weight is on the toes of back foot. As a result of which your backfoot movement is locked. To have a good footwork try to keep your body weight on the ball of backfoot and also don't take early trigger movement

Hello Ramesh, Excellent videos explained with such simplicity. I am 59 and play in Hampshire Cricket League in UK. It is probably the world's biggest cricket league. Sometimes, while batting and playing lofted shots, I tend to lose sight of the ball at the very last minute when it is right under my nose. What is your advise to correct it? While bowling inswingers, I struggle to get correct angle of the ball at the time of delivery and it goes down the legside. I have tried going wide of the crease to deliver it on offstump or just outside but unable to do it consistently. Any advise please.
I think your head is not still.. when you move out or with one stride out.. you are intending to play a lofted drive... keep your head down don't look up before the contact that is when you tend to loose the sight( for better result watch my video How To Hit long Sixer)
As far your wide down the leg is concerned don't move your front shoulder towards off side too early.. your head falls and bowling arm also goes at past 12 o clock position and your arm comes with an angle towards leg stump.

Dear respected sir I have a doubt we have to intentionally judge the length of ball whether it is good length short or half volley by seeing the ball while batting against a bowler ?? or we have to just see and react to it ?? which one is right if first one then we have enough time to do it against bolwer while batting #thankyou for such precious deep knowledge

1 question in mind..
When i play innings as opener..
In starting 2 overs i prefer attacking on bowlers.. and then bowlers got disturb by line and length.. I start playing single doubles.. is it right way? For T20?
And i am practicing all shots.. but my skills in pitch shows different attitude..
In front foot balls i play drive or defensive.. or try to give directions most of the times..
Normally we hared we batsmen have to play V shape with Straight bat
What you suggest??
As a batsman you should be scoring constantly. How do you score nobody bothers. To play in a v is a good habit and to look for single and double is a bonus

Take start slow then attack or start attacking then slow as i do always??
I cnt be attacking all time as 37 years of age..have young brigade in Team for attacking.. i have a role to play stick till end with just balls have to be less then runs.. that kind of role im having in Team..
So i have choice in batting order
