    Assalaamu aleykum everyone!
I've got so many questions about the last niqab style, that I called with a name "qashwa", and people wanted to know where to find it. You will find something similar if you google " Yemeni Khimar". Several online stores sell it and it works the same way: attaches to the back of the head with elastic or ties, is loose with several layers, has an additional layer to cover the face and is usually open slightly from the neck.
    I hope this helps you!

jasaki Allahu khayran sister for this video! I am a Muslim convert Italian and for about 4 months I started bringing Niqab. Before I used a simple Niqab to a veil created with my hands, practically a veil that tied behind the head, but left uncovered the eyebrows and part of the forehead, as is used, for example, among the sisters in Indonesia and we had it various colors, blue, pink, white etc. (which they call "purdah"). Today, at last, my new black 3-ply Niqab has arrived home and I am very happy, but also scared, because I'm afraid that here where I live, Rome, people get scared because of the "black" ... already with the colored ones I had before, people looked at me badly ... now, that is a complete and black Niqab I'm really scared. I hope, inshallah, that soon the situation here in the West, for us niqabi, will become better and that we can one day be free and respected in our choice. I am afraid, but I can not wait (at the same time) to go out with my new 3-ply Niqab, make du'a for me sister, so that nothing bad happens, with the permission of Allah, because to where I lived, years ago, a sister with the Niqab was attacked by a bunch of fascists-Nazis. Thanks again for the video, may Allah reward you sister 😘

you could also try the sunglasses on top of these. A woman features aren't to be seen by her non-mehrams. not even an eye. They must uncover the eyes only to see the path they walk, roads and speedy cars. So in this case it is a Necessity and absolutely no Sin. maybe the idea is to wear your sunglasses on when you are sitting in the back seat of a car, bus or a train. not sure but definitely seems purer for the hearts.

Asalamwalaikom, I’m a Muslim living in Canada I would love to wear niqab but I have fears about safety as some ppl in our country agree with the sentiments coming from the political arena in the USA. Do you ever deal with safety issues? Also we have many stores that have security guards after hours at night so I don’t know what to do in these cases if asked to remove the niqab as security guards are not actually the police.

I show my face for example in the bank (for the cashier) or elsewhere where a certain person needs to identify me (post etc.) But I do it only if there is that valid reason and right and only to that person for that purpose only. @But you see, it is unnecessary and more masculine and religious than desire of God. You don't have to go to this point to show that you love God. Islamic religion is just to cover the woman. Why do men dress normal? So I am against hijab and niqab. I support all people who do not hire or approach such women. It is a strange feeling to see one's head covered just because she thinks she is better than a woman with normal dress and with beautiful face and long hair.
does not mean that a woman without hijab and niqab is bad.I do not need to have hijab or niqab to tell other that im a good person. And i have a quastion for you. why men are not covered but only women in your religion are covered if you support gender equality?
And something else If you offend it shows that you are not a Muslim. Anyway Then let's be fair, you can't tell her she's beautiful as long as we do not know who who she is. But i like the rags.Looks good material. And I like her voice.

You are the first Muslim woman I’ve come across wearing gloves. Is that part of your niqab outfit? So some woman cover their hands too? ❤️

Thank you for sharing your journey :) ❤ Yes some women choose to wear gloves as a part of their covering. Some women wear niqab and some dont and they still might cover their hands. I have another video where I explain this more, but it is to cover the visual look of the hands and make them blend in more to my clothes and not be too visible. It can also be a means of preventing accidental touches of the opposite gender maybe in the supermarket or the public transport, but mostly it is the visual side of it.
During the pandemic now I take them usually off when I go to the supermarket so I can use the hand sanitizer etc, but it really depends on the person :)

Disgusting. Million reasons why hijab/niqab is oppressing women. Women are not diamonds, pearls or precious gem to be hidden. To call them those things is an insult as those are material items men gives value to, then fight and kill each other over it. In a normal society most men have appropiate manners and know how to treat all ladies with respect with hijab or not. If a woman weares hijab and admits that it's her fault how a man acts towards her, unfairly she is shifting all the blame. Boys should grow up knowing how to treat their mamas and sisters better. The frequent comment that Nuns wear one too. Nuns are a small minority in the Christian community who decide not at childhood, or puberty to wear a habit but, as an adult who is aware of their decision to devote themselves to God. It’s not imposed to them. Hijab ensures a woman's fidelity... but not a man's. Is this anything to be proud of? Wearing a hijab would be an insult to those same women who fought for women to be seen by men as equals first and women second. You say a hijab doesn't stop you from doing things, your right it doesn't. But you only enjoy those privileges because of efforts made by women in history who did not. It can sexualize girls and women. You're covering them up so they don't attract the gaze of men, which makes out women to be inherently sexual objects, even girls as young as 10 and under. Does that mean she is instantly a sex object if she doesnt wear a piece of a cloth on her head? That is just a men’s miserable excuse for not controlling themselves and behaiving like animals without sense. Look up for a clip called Sexual Harassment in Egypt where Awel El-Khayt takes a closer look at the causes and consequences of sexual harrassment and try and understand the mindset of the harasser and what motivates them. Unbehaived man will always find a way to harrass woman, even if she walks naked or like a mummy. Teach men to behave themselves and to control their desires. And this comes from a man. If you are worried about how society thinks about you, aim to change society not yourself. By wearing a hijab you are running away from the problem not solving it. Let's teach our boys to treat all girls with respect, and teach girls that they are not judged based on what they wear, and that they will be loved and accepted regardless. And mostly, men pretending to act all nice and polite because of what you wear. Women should appreciate men who act polite all the time period, and if they only act polite in the presence of a hijab what are they really like?

alibababa6 what if while dressing in niqb we teach respect towed women

    • @alibababa6
      @alibababa6 6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Respect has nothing to do with your clothes. You can't blame women for mens behavior, it's absurd. If a lion seeas a deer, he kills it to eat it. That's his instinct. People have reason and sanity, and can't behaive like animals. So for a man who can't control his filthy desires, his place is a cage, not public space. The hijab/niqab is not a symbol of freedom. It is a symbol of the fact that women in Islam are second class citizens and that this status is encoded in both sacred text and tradition, enforced by culture and law. Hijab/niqab/burqa is a symbol of patriarchal Islam’s intolerance of dissent and desire to contain and repress female sexuality. Clothes sole purpose were invented to protect ones self from the natural elements. Human instinct. Other than we are born naked, and without shame until pointed by others. This is proven by old tribes living today who wear the bare amount of clothing without shame or concern. If a man wants your attention, you just tell them straight out NO NOT INTERESTED! You don't need a hijab to speak for you when you have a tongue for talking and a strong voice. And hijab does not prevent women from being lesbians and those can be sexual encounters as well. Women can be watched lustfully by other women. It'd be naive to think otherwise. Women don't rape themselves. Therefore the burden cannot be solely on them to prevent it.

It would be good if you did a video on Islamic modesty and if it is acceptable for men to talk to you and if so what the limits are. I have to admit I've seen muslim women but afraid to approach them as I've got the feeling that Muslim women shouldn't talk to men unless essential.

I also dance ballet...It's haram isn't it?....I just have this passion for dance...I can't explain....

      Wa'aleikum as-salam warahmatullahi wabarkatuh sister.
Don't think about the hijab, niqab, not dancing etc and that it would be haram right now. Start with the prayer and build your relationship with Allah first in shaa Allah. The prayer is the second pillar of islam and extremely important, so to focus on less important matters right now will only make you fall. Build yourself up slowly and not to fast so you have a good foundation in shaa Allah. When I started to practice I took things on me way too fast so i ended up dropping (almost) everything. It's really a horrible experience!
Obs! I'm not saying that the hijab, not listening to music etc, is not important, but that will come by itself in shaa Allah when you have the salah.
May Allah guide you and keep you stead fast upon the straight path. Ameen.

you can start wearing a hijab at any time - just tell her that by covering up your body and hair you're protecting your skin and hair from pollution and the sun. every second we expose ourselves to the sun increases the chances to develop skin cancer . not to mention sun causes premature aging [not that this is something to worry about at 15]. However, these reasons should be a better reason to give your mother, than saying it's for religious reasons. Plus, wearing a hijab can only show her you're serious about your new found religion. ;)
As a side note, skin cancer was known since antiquity. however, at the beginning of the 20th century people started to wear less and less clothes, and this led to higher cases of skin cancer. Why? because the clothes are the ones protecting the skin best against the damaging effects of the sun, not the sun screen lotion which also pollutes the environment. ;) be smart about it and your mother won't object your choice of dressing yourself. god bless

Thank you madam for your videos. My two daughters have recently married into a conservative Muslim family and want to move from Western clothes to more modest outfits. Both have no experience of this culture so your videos are a blessing to them.
Both are now learning to wear full face covering. Is it more respectable to wear black than the more brighter colours ?
    Thanks again for your videos

    • @emiliesmith9917

John Roberts It really depends on the person. Some people like black, that’s cool, or people like me prefer colors! I am not a niqabi, but niqabs come in lots of colors and styles like she mentioned in the video! I’m one for soft pastel colors myself though
