Good header menu, I bought your template, and works great for simple nav, but how to for a mega menu, like to insert brixies template in it?

@@RD4Ufr Thank you for purchasing 🙏. While the template doesn't directly include a mega menu yet, you can just as easily adapt it for a mega menu and insert whatever template you wish. I've used it on some client projects personally.
Simply select any of the existing top-level drop-down elements in the Bricks template.
      Turn off Multilevel
      Under content, turn off static
      Then Enable mega menu
Set the Horizontal css selector to .header__inner
Then in the structure panel, inside Dropdown > Content you can import whatever template you wish to import and it should play nicely. If you need further assistance you can email me and I'd be happy help out.

    Love the menu!
However, today I updated to version 1.4 and even though the menu still works I have an error in my Javascript Console:
It says: 'Button with selector ".mobile-nav .brx-submenu-toggle > button[aria-expanded="true"] not found."''
Can you maybe check why this happens? I also noticed that I have 2x the chevron-left icon on the "Back"-button which maybe has to do with that error (not sure though).

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'll have a look and see what might be the issue. Is this a brand-new installation of the template? Did you already have a previous version installed on the site? You can send me an email on oscar@lightspuncreative.com

if you must install the new version on a site with a previous version of the MLH Template, do the following:
      1. Open the class and variables manager in Bricks and select and delete the following classes. Bricks allows for multiple select with CTRL/CMD click. Don't worry you won't have to do this again after 1.4.0 update:
      desktop-nav__nav
      offcanvas
      offcanvas__content
      header
      header__inner
      desktop-nav
      offcanvas__backdrop
      mobile-nav
      mobile-nav__list-item
      mobile-nav__nav-link
      offcanvas__btn
      dropdown-back
      2. Go back to the Bricks Templates list and Delete the Multilevel Header Template
      3. Delete the Template's CSS stylesheet you had previously added (Vanilla or ACSS)
Having completely removed the old template, you can follow the installation instructions and you'd be good to go. Keep in mind that the contents of your previous menu will be lost. So please make a backup where possible.

@@OscarObians Thanks for the quick response! 🙂I already had the previous version of your template installed. That one worked perfectly but when I "updated" to 1.4 I got that error in the Console.

@@Soluna_y2k I thought as much. You're having the errors because the classes and javascript from the previous version are incompatible. Try following the steps to delete the old css classes before installing the new template. Or you can email me with temporary access and I'll help you get it up to speed

@@OscarObians After quite some time I finally figured it out. The problem apparently was: I deleted all the classes you mentioned above without noticing that classes like "header" or "header__inner" were created by myself earlier and I used the same class names for my own styling... By deleting them I messed up my whole nav 🙈. Stupid me... So it wasn´t a problem with your template. I should´ve paid more attention to the classnames that I blindly deleted!
Ty for the support though ❤ I´m happy it´s working perfectly now! 😊
Edit: Though I don´t know where that error in the Javascript console came from... Now that all the classes are correct and the menu is working the error in the console is gone. Maybe it tried to access a class that wasn´t there anymore. No idea 😋

This is a really great start. I bought it. There are some issues with 1.3, and the accessibility... its gets trapped with enough spaces and tabs presses, and the whole thing kinda glitches. Have you had similar issues?

    • @OscarObians
      @OscarObians  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@wingtracerNot that I've seen just yet. But I'll certainly look into this and see what might be the issue as I prepare the next update. Thank you for purchasing

If it isn't too much trouble, could you record a video showing these glitches? I haven't experienced any issues with keyboard accessibility in my tests

Will do tomorrow for you. I thought it was odd. I will get a screen cast and email you? Also, curious why the drop downs have duplicate elements inside and outside the off canvas, and they have identical ID, so setting removes it in both places. Will send you video.

@@wingtracer Interesting... Email me the screencast. You can use the same email address from the purchase email or support@lightspuncreative.com
