    Hey Cakenista's. Here are a few answers to your questions: Unsalted butter 🧈, No refrigeration needed for the crumb topping. The strawberry crumb will be soft when hot, let it cool before cutting.

    I'll be making the cake again for my son's 20th b'day next month. I could eat a bowl of the crunch without the cake! I could possibly eat the entire plate of those cupcakes though since I didn't have to make them. You're looking gorgeous, btw!

      I typically shop at my local Shoprite. I've been to Save a lot a couple of times though while on the road.

      If you're storing the decorated cupcakes, yes. But the crumbs don't need to be refrigerated themselves.

      Yes U can store the balance in the fridge DO NOT PUT IN NO CABINET. IT WILL SPOIL ON U BUTTER NEEDS REFRDGERATION.

    Made the crunch for the top of my cake. The vanilla turned out AMAZING. Buttttt I had no Idea what happened to my strawberry pieces 😩 It never turned into little pieces, instead it turned into a horrible sticky mess. I tried the blender & it wouldn’t blend anymore, it just stayed in the bottom of the blender..... stuck 😂😂

      Mine did too. I food process a little at a time and it works nicely. I wouldn't recommend using a blender but it should work if you do very small amounts at a time and blend with the oreo cookies to help break it down.

      You can USE a ninja like I do. But I personally brought a chopper just for My crumble.from Dr Leonard's. Or Carole wright. Or stone berry or go to AMAZON. BUT DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PUT THAT CRUMBLE IN THE CABINET!!! PUT IT IN A STORAGE CONTAINER IN THE FRIDGE!!!

    What size boxes of jello and pudding did you use

      It's the 3.5 oz the much smaller boxes of the JELLO'S. The van is 3.3 & the Strawberry small box is like 3.5 but use 1/2 of stick of REAL BUTTER.=4 TABLE SPOONS & 1/4 CUPS FLOUR. FOR EACH BOX IN SPARATE BOWLS MIX WITH A FORK THE PUT ON A PIECE OF PARCHMENT PAPER IN A OVEN FOR 8 MINUTES. THEN TAKE IT OUT & COOL. THEN COOL IN FRIDGE. THEN BLEND HALF & HALF TOGETHER TILL U GET YA CRUMBLE. STORE IN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER IN THE FRIDGE!!.

      Unsalted is best. I always prefer butter over margarine.

    My strawberry always comes out all mushy is there's something I'm doing wrong please help

      I let it sit for 30 minutes to harden.

      Allow it to cool 30 minutes on cooling rack then in fridge 30 then blend.
