Just wondering about the smell not lasting being an issue. Isn't this supposed to kill the bacteria that makes your sweat smell in the first place? Was it not doing the job? I wasn't clear why 4 pts instead of 5 in the sport category unless it wasn't. If it was, then surely it doesn't matter if you can't smell it later on. As long as YOU didn't smell it did what it's supposed to. Obviously the liquid aspect of sweating isn't desirable though.
Hi Nic, thanks for watching and commenting, it's appreciated. The smell rating is an estimate of how long I can smell a nice scent given off by the deo. Some of them I can smell throughout the day, some really don't have longevity. It's just a record of that, seeing as some of the deos have lovely scents it's nice if they are still noticeable later in the day. For the sports rating, I try and gauge over repeated use whether I notice if I'm particularly smelly after strenuous exercise or whether it's done a good job of combating that, compared to others. As with all of the ratings, it's subjective, and just my view, but hopefully it helps create a comparison between different deodorants I've tried, which may help people select a deo for them to to try, and hopefully like!
Thanks for your review of Fussy. I have just received my dispenser and first insert. Smells good and looking forward to using it. I have a question, have you considered reducing plastic waste when shaving? I see that you have a beard but it is trimmed. I use double edged blades with a traditional DE razor. I pair this with a brush and a refillable pot of shaving soap made from natural products in the UK. Blades cost around £10 for 100 blades and they typically come in paper and cardboard packaging. I can get five to seven shaves per blade. Compared to multi-blade blades marketed by the major brands DE blade shaving is really eco friendly apart from letting the beard grow without trimming it.
Hi, glad you found the review useful. Hopefully you'll find it's the right deo for you. Appreciate you taking the time to leave me your thoughts about shaving. I usually use an electric razor to trim every week or so. I have sensitive skin so don't have a clean shave, it's usually 1 or 2mm, hence using the adjustable razor. I do, however, need to wet shave when I travel, as I want to minimise the weight of what I take with me. I will perhaps look at that when I travel next month. Sounds like you've got a good setup there though, with great value for the bulk blade purchase, and the natural shaving soap. If you can share the names of the products I'll take a look...
It's disappointing that there were so many provisos, it makes me question why. I like the product, though I find conventional anti perspirant deodorant is more comfortable in the summer as it actually reduces sweating. I'm considering going back to that for now, and using Fussy from autumn through to spring. I agree regarding how it's unstable it is standing up, it needs to have a flat bottom. I'm finding a refill lasts for months, much longer than in the reviews I've seen, and I think I'm using a reasonable amount. I'm using the Cotton Fresh scent, and as others have said I find it a bit musty, I wouldn't buy that one again. I think Tropic Tonic is much nicer, it's lovely and zingy and fresh.
Thanks for adding your thoughts, it's much appreciated. Interesting to read about your switch back to anti-perspirant for summer, certainly makes sense. I'm testing a different brand at the moment in very warm weather and it's really not a great experience considering the amount of sweat! The Tropic Tonic sounds nice, it's quite easy to imagine that one from the description. I'm sure it's invigorating!

I’ve tried a number of natural deodorants and I’m sticking with Fussy.
Excellent value for money👍
