    This was a very good demonstration and tutorial on how to use this type of lishi. Thanks for taking the time to do this video, cheers

      The ignitions can be tough. Hard to get in there just right with your body where you can pick

    Very impressive picking and reading! In the field it is VERY awkward actually. Depending on the vehicle, surroundings and of course ambient temperature outside I would rather remove the cylinder and replace or re-key. Depends on what the customer is willing to pay. Thanks!

      Usually i remove the back switch turn on the power, make the chip, start the car with air condition running then , i take my sweet time pick and decode the lock haha.

    That's fine when it's in your hand. Show us how it goes mounted on the car

      It’s definitely a pain in the ass. I think it would be even harder to film.

    There isn't a week that goes by we don't get calls on Honda's "my key won't turn" in the door and or ignition. Many times their door lock stopped working they never fix it than the ignition goes. Same crappy wafers for 20 years but they make us money. We won't do door locks though. PITA to R&R. We tell them to have their mechanic yank it and we will rekey it.

      Same on the door locks.

      @@BoredLockpicker The other fun thing on Honda's is you need a working remote to shut the alarm off. Before we open them as they are usually old beaters we tell them if they don't have a working remote the car will start but the alarm is going to go off for about 3 minutes every time they start it up. They tell me the usual fairy tales "my car doesn't have an alarm" blah blah. I explain that they never opened their car without a key or remote to make the alarm go off. They just argue. I hate to say it but it gets so old it's almost enjoyable watching their reaction after they argue with me which most do and the alarm is blaring. The door locks also never work on them. I have never had one of these people want to pay for a programmed remote either. Some run to get pliers to disconnect the battery I tell them that isn't going to fix it either. As soon as it hooked back up beep beep beep. :)

    Lishi and Hondas ? I'm too lazy those are very hard 😂 take out the wavers ! ....
    Unless for example the Honda City (in Mexico) glove box doesn't come with key cylinder (keycode)... So Lishi is the option

      If it has the trunk release on the floor by the drivers seat that lock is very easy to pull.

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  ปีที่แล้ว

      I Lishi them to unlock them all the time. Usually just grab a code from a lock to make the key

    • @scotts4125
      @scotts4125 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoredLockpicker The older ones where the unlock button pushes in sometimes are a PITA to open. One of my guys uses the long tool. Another one of guys uses the under the window tool. That's the easiest way for me to open them too. I have a third guy that uses the long tool to pull the trunk release, climbs in to unlock the door. ;) We usually get the code off the trunk release lock. Even if it's locked just pulling up on the cable releases it and that lock comes right out with the code on it.

      Back before I was real into the Lishi tools I had a rod bent like a U that only used for Honda. Air wedge it by the windshield and go straight down and then rotate it. Lishi is way easier. Under window tools here in Florida aren’t great because all the windows are tinted

    • @scotts4125
      @scotts4125 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoredLockpicker That's essentially what we are doing with the under the window tool but your way might be even easier. Some are really tight though so being under the window gives you a bit of spring leverage. I had one that was an all modified 2 door beater. They changed and modified everything on this car but everything in the doors were broke. He only spoke Spanish and it wasn't his car it was his cousins. I had two under the window tools stuck in the door and I couldn't get the button to move. I finally get the button to move but the door won't open. He calls his cousin and the cousin tells me "oh that door doesn't work" lol. I had to use my last under the window tool on the drivers door. Finally got it open and I was able to get my tools out from the other door. I had one even worse though. I tried everything couldn't get either button to push in. Guy told me his keys were under a backpack in the passenger seat. I took the long tool knocked the backpack off the seat and hooked the keys out of the car. Whatever it takes I always say. :)

      @@BoredLockpickerhello I'm about to purchase dolphin and use xhorse app. I was told that xhorse will decode keys so no longer need to have instacode. Do you still use insta? If so, why? Thank you I'm new subscriber as of today.

    Hi, i was doing picking and decoding, and i fails, i picked successfully, but failed with decoding. It happened 3 times on civic 2005.
    After other locksmith have done that job i asked client for key code, and i was shocked. I haven't read any wafers right.
    Why?
    If there is any point to turn lock to other way and read it one more time?

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The wafers were probably all really worn so they won’t decode accurately. The other locksmith probably just got the code off a lock

    • @Best-hz8wt
      @Best-hz8wt 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BoredLockpicker yes, he got it from ignition switch.
      So if that happens, the only way is get code, or disassembly?

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would just get the code from the valet lock
