But what about this incident? Dr Moumita wasn't wearing any short dress, she wasn't roaming outside at night. After her 36 hours long duty, post dinner with her colleagues she just came to the Seminar hall to take a nap. She wouldn't even have thought that this kind of horror incident will take place that night and unfortunately end her life. We can only protest and raise our voice against the Criminals. But the people who have the power to turn our voices into actions, they must take decisions as soon as possible. This is extremely unfair. Let's keep protesting and supporting her. 🥺🤧❤️🙏🏻! Sometimes my mom tells don't wear shorts in front of dad, I dk why my own mom tells this and "makes me feel that I m not safe in my own house" But I m glad that my father never made me feel insecure. He tells me don't wear shorts and come when someone comes But my father has given me the freedom to wear what I like. Where half of the population were happily celebrating Independence day yesterday, the other half are shattered & deeply depressed. We can't even imagine what pain she might have gone through at that moment. The fact that it took her more than 8 years to get into residency & be a junior doctor. Her long years of hardwork, is in vain now. In 2014, we lost Nirbhaya. Rapists say that "girls shouldn't be wearing short dresses & roaming on the streets at midnight" okay got it. But what about this incident? Dr Moumita wasn't wearing any short dress, she wasn't roaming outside at night. After her 36 hours long duty, post dinner with her colleagues she just came to the Seminar hall to take a nap. She wouldn't even have thought that this kind of horror incident will take place that night and unfortunately end her life. We can only protest and raise our voice against the Criminals. But the people who have the power to turn our voices into actions, they must take decisions as soon as possible. This is extremely unfair. Let's keep protesting and supporting her. 🥺🤧❤️🙏🏻! She tried to save herself . But she lost. Cuz there were almost 8-10 people involved. She was brutally beaten and murdered. ! May she gets justice soon . AMEN! Let's pray for her, and also that no other girl has to suffer this way in future! To be honest! I'm a 15 yo girl, who had her very risky ear surgery on 16th June ,and escaped death. I just wanna share a incident of mine here.
Whenever I walk on the road to go to my tution class I always got dirty stares by men.
They literally see me in a very dirty way and stares my breasts.
And u can't imagine how it feels, it feels as if someone is stripping u naked with their views.
The amount of trauma I got by this as a 12 yr old girl is still unimaginable.
I told my mom about it, she told me u have to wear a dupatta, and I was like why should I wear it's their mistake,
But my mom told that they r men so they will stare so nothing can be done.
This literally made me broke my heart
Another incident like this happened, I was wearing shorts in my house and suddenly neighbour came with their family.
That uncle was starting me and gave me dirty looks and the point to be noted is that he has a girl daughter around the age of 3, haven't he ever thought that someone might stare his daughter in the same way he is looking at someone else's daughter, my father saw that and after he went my father scolded me like anything for wearing shorts and I cried like anything that day.
Sometimes my mom tells don't wear shorts in front of dad, I dk why my own mom tells this and "makes me feel that I m not safe in my own house"
But I m glad that my father never made me feel insecure.
He tells me don't wear shorts and come when someone comes
But my father has given me the freedom to wear what I like.
I truly don't understand why men are like this
But this incidents do give us life long trauma

As a girl I have been facing this since childhood when people stares at you, stops you on going anywhere and say that you are a girl first yarr it feels so bad , so unsafe . We can't go anywhere we want , we can't believe on anyone, can't stay the way we want , can't spend time with the person whom we want , can't go at night and what not!! This Kolkata case is so hazardous and the mindset should be change, system should be change. Ab nhi to kab !!

men would change after this? Certainly not. We as men should first change at individual lvl. Stop watching porn,stop watching cheap yt channel, dont be frnds with ppl who casually uses words like "maal h" "item h" etc. If we dont change ourself at individual lvl nothing would change be it any state.
