A Star On The Walk Of Fame is GREAT! But Mr Levy deserves praise and thanks a million. Before he even did Going Berserk, or Spash he entertained me along with all my friends and family greatly. GREATLY. Along with his fellow cast mates every Thursday Night at 9 on SCTV ;) I adore him. I wish we could see a film where he can really show off his many talents. I just love and would thank him over and over again. I can't tell you how many characters, and lines of dialogue that became part of the story of my life. Thanks and Congratulations Mr. Levy. I look forward to what you do next. Cause even seeing an interview or the best banter on any show or award ceremony, you are just GOLD. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. - Toronto, Canada.
Does Anyone remember The Last Waltz? I saw it on HBO but they have never released it on DVD. It's so funny and brilliant.. it's John Candy and Eugene Levy with Rick Moranis and Catherine O' Hara.

If so another great oldie is GOING BERSERK with these guys. But for the Last Polka it's been a hard to find one since VHS. But here's a link to a decent copy on TH-cam. I can't post the link but just search The Last Polka, and a couple will pop up. The one that is around 53 mins is the clearer one.

In my humble opinion {U of T graduate, Scarborough, 1991}, SCTV was it. I believe the Order of Canada is a greater achievement; however, it was so fun to see you, Ms. O'Hara, and your daughter there with you. Congratulations!

I have watched and appreciated Eugene since I first watched SCTV live. A very good man and a good family indeed. He left out one person of note who also found his way to acting at the same time. Again, through SCTV. Also from Hamilton Ontario Canada. Martin Short. If not in the steel, (Americans, you should think of Hamilton as Pittsburgh); then steal the hearts of people through acting.

Now we know that Apple TV+ payed for and probably campaigned for this star to promote their new series. But deserved none the less. A great talent who played many memorable roles that will entertain millions for as long as humanity exists.
McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario should have its own walk of fame for the incredible host of artists that call it their Alma Mater, eg, Martin Short, John Candy, Ivan Reitman,Dave Thomas etc etc

That host is the biggest stuffed shirt and totally phony. I thought the stars didn't mean much because people just buy them now, where people before had to Earn them .. that's no dis to Eugene Levy he definitely deserves it.
Actually I think it was the beginning of the 80´s where they changed everything and that basically you just need to be nominated (by yourself, or whoever, even fans) and if selected, there is a fee to pay for maintenance and the selected recipient of the stars must agree to show up for its unveiling. ..I’m aware that Madonna had been nominated by her fan club and even selected on several occasions by the committee. But she had no interest in taking part of, and wouldn’t agree to show up for its unveiling (even though the fee was to be covered by her fans, and her label on another occasion), which is why she doesn’t have a star to this day.

He was doing press and couldn’t get out of it, and Eugene insisted he do his press for his new project he was committed to doing instead. But you’re right, there are so many examples of Dan being a horrible son, so way to judge 👍🏻
