I was gonna pass on him but FOMO hit me hard as I started seeing amazing photos of him and also remembering a shirt I had as a kid that had this version of Batman on it. He does look and feel great in hand so I'm glad to have it. Hopefully Mafex will release a proper 90s Superman to go with him.
I think this is the best batman figure. it's based off norman breyfogel and kelly jones's art style. Two of the more iconic batman artists from the late 80s and 90s. i bet this one grows on you. can you do an m. bison review? he hits the states next month.
I love the fact that mafex included the rebreather head sculpt. It has a lot of background. Batman uses it to save mayor krol from a flooding tunnel detonated by the joker and the scarecrow creating one of the most infamus close calls Batman has ever had. Also saving mayor krol plays another important role in knight quest. That sculpt takes me back to my childhood. That's why i bought this figure. Awesome review!
