Would be really interested in a comparison DPS-wise of the new Eternal Radiance vs the old spectro set. Whilst the passives are clearly better, the damage that the Jue echo can put out (including the DoT it adds on skill use) feels significant, and i'm wondering whether the new set is truly a massive upgrade or just a sidegrade if you already have a decent OG spectro set (especially if you already have very high crit rate so the 20% wouldnt be as impactful a boost).
The question of which Echo set to run on Rover will definitely need to be revisited after Phoebe’s release. Eternal Radiance is still king for Rover’s personal damage, but I’m wondering if running that with Phoebe for a dual carry team is worth giving up Moonlit to buff Phoebe’s damage or Rejuvenating Glow since Rover can heal with S4.
@@Zer0Perplexity From what I understood, the 100% spectro frazzle damage actually meant the Aix itself does double damage if there's Frazzle on the target, not that the echo makes your frazzle do double damage. Also you still get 40% spectro damage and 16% skill damage from the OG set, plus the ticks of the dot that Jue makes your skills apply. I think they're closer than you may think, though i do think the eternal is higher.
@Ultragravy oh i did misread it then it's for the echo itself. Well I did the math, Jue does 437.89% Spectro DMG. Mourning Aix does 243.2% Spectro DMG at base, 486.4% Spectro DMG to enemies with Spectro Frazzle. So it out damages Jue as long as you use it after applying Spectro Frazzle. Then there's the +20% Crit Rate

As a Rover Main Since Day 1. FINALLY someone who sees how powerful Rover is, I see people struggling on reddit to clear Tower on their accounts but they Don't build Rover, as well as a lot content creators that have them at a low level like 40-80. Genshin PTSD of having the MC be WEAK is Real, BUT NOT HERE IN WUWA. The MC is actually good, and they buffed them in 2.0, really happy as someone who actually built them fully before 2.0.👍
at least the Genshin effect stayed away from HSR cause ever since 2.2 the MC in HSR has been part of the meta and one of the best supports in the game, meanwhile from what i heard pyro traveller is still as trash as all the other elements (except dendro i think), kinda weird that HSR is always so excited on powercreeping limited characters but they haven't made a character that truly replaces harmony MC yet (which is amazing, not complaining)
I hope Jianxin gets something like this in her Forte Circuit. Stacking Aero Erosion with her wide ass Heavy Attack would actually make the 6 seconds more bearable.
Yeah but rover was the first character to hit the 100k mark with their libration the biggest nuke in 1.0 but after jinshi arrived she started doing 300k casually 😂
I've been doing solo holo 6's with Spectrover and I'm really glad to see other people realizing how strong this unit actually is after the buff. Great video, actually taught me a few things about her (using ha after BA3 rather than just spamming ha's which is what I'd been doing). Keep up the good work !
Dude, I've been having a ton of fun with SpectRover along with his quickswap partners, Changli and Carlotta. His quick concerto regen facilitates a lot of intro/outro while dishing out good damage alongside them.
After revisiting Spectro Rover, I’ve come to appreciate how versatile they can be as a teammate, especially after they get healing from S4 and can thus proc the Rejuvenating Glow effect. I’m surprised you didn’t touch on that, especially with Phoebe on the horizon.
@rosebudwannabe I am guessing shorekeeper, in the current set up (phoebe rover and shore) phoebe is main dps and rover sub, but phoebe can also act as a sub dps (according to the leaks) and zani is suspected to be main dps. So itll be zani main dps, phoebe sub, shorekeeper sup. Although, depending on who you ask, rover can also be used as a support, but shorekeeper is def better.
Another great team is to use Carlotta instead of Sanhua so you can spam Rover's Stasis and also spam Carlotta's skill to make the enemy basically never able to move. Spectro Rover can basically be slotted into any team thanks to his healing, and stasis outro.
@ a level 5 Fable of Wisdom yes. Coz you get 50.2% + 467 base attack from weapon. You’re not losing so much with the crit stats from Emerald of Genesis coz you don’t need much crit anymore since s1 Spectro Rover gives you 15% crit when you cast resonance skill which you can do every 6 secs and crit buff from s1 lasts for 7 secs. Now if you pair with Shorekeeper that’s an additional 12.5% crit.
I was building a universal Rover before since i was lazy to change their echoes. But i was currently prefarming for both Spectro and Havoc Rover since the echo preset is coming up :).

when i discovered the new eternal radiance set, i was more hyped on rebuilding my spectro Rover than building my Carlotta lol and because my subs reroll rng on my Carlotta sux so much. the 20% crit rate was really good made me build the set faster than any other dps sonata set tbh. I'm enjoying it while using the new 4 star Rinascita sword for added fun
You can use the free weapon from Somnoire too. People slept on it's passive and use the standard 5 star weapon. The passive is very strong and you can use CDM% for 4 cost echo since new set give a crit rate too. You get 12% crit and 40% atk bonus from passive, and new set give 20% crit bonus which total to 32% crit which is BIG. With goot substat you can get 70 to 80% crit chance with CDM 4 cost echo.

the spectro frazzle dmg does change depending on how much spectro dmg bonus does rover have i.e., higher spectro dmg bonus results in more dmg so I would recommend going 33311 on rover

We have a similar team comp, the only difference that I use Yang yang for sub Because she just recharge Rover's liberation which not just heals but shreds and applies extra Frazzle, not to mention putting SK on this team I get like 100k on his 2nd Liberation damage
I have jinshi on my account as well, but Spectro Rover is more fun to play with and better team comps. I paired her with Jianxin, Yinlin, Zhezhi, Lumi, Mortefi, etc... I think that's everyone in game XD.
Basically, its like a separate instance of DOT. What I really don't like about this, is the fact that not any spectro character can do it beside MC. Okay Jinhsi probab;y does not need it, but I think at least Verina should be able to, since she got completely powercrept by Shorekeeper.

I just started the game and i want a team thats easy to build in terms of resources, i think this is a good first team to build right? Or do i need rover S6 to make it viable?
My Rover is already lvl 90, so I was thinking of building Spectro Rover. I could then use her for the first 3 Tower levels on Spectro buffs, or even instead of Havoc Rover. I have a ton of the Eternal Radiance echoes (almost 4 times more than Frosty Resolve, despite them coming from the same Tacet Field), I just don't have enough Nightmare Aix's to guarantee double crit on it. But I have like 20 Spectro 3-costs and close to that Atk 1-costs. What are her possible teams though? Not going to use Sanhua and SK with her since they're taken. If she won't work well with other characters, I'll hold off on that until I decide if I want Phoebe or not, since she's Spectro Frazzle and Spectro Rover will be her best teammate for a while. I'm curious, do the Talent levels transfer between Spectro and Havoc Rover trees? Never thought to check, and I'll probably forget by the next time I turn on the game.
Moonlit will be better. The spectro resistance shredd can help Phoebe do more damage but keep in mind that you’ll spend a bit more time on rover to get the outro
unironically, spectro rover is better used with rejuvenating glow set. Their ult heals and activates the set with ease without needing to build outro. You can easily pair moonlit cloud set on mortefi to double buff phoebe and you’ll get more value out of her :)

@ That rumor that phoebe specializes in basic attack dmg likely originated from the wuthering waves content creator: Ragnorok (who did not do his own due diligence), as he states in his videos to prioritize basic attack damage substats which is completely incorrect. Phoebe specializes in heavy attack damage, hence why mortefi will buff her well. Next, you asked why rover wants rejuv set. While rover’s healing on their ult is very little, it still activates the powerful rejuvenating glow set effects which further buffs your character, regardless of outro. So to answer your question, you aren’t looking to buff rover’s healing numbers, but instead you’re looking to utilize the healing and turn it into damage buffs for the team with rejuvenating glow. Please let me know if you have any more questions, i’ve done a lot of research on phoebe and im more than glad to help!
How much stronger is the new echo set for Rover and Phoebe compared to older echo set? 15% dmg bonus and 40 crit value is huge but how good is the uptime and DPS increase cuz grinding a new set is a pain and in Roccia case it wasn't worth the effort since the difference is so small
What echo substats should I prioritise? Other than the obvious ones: CR 35% (70%-15%-20%) CD 210% (140%+(15%+20%)x2) ATK% How much ER should I go for and which DMG Bonus affects SpectRover the most?
I calculated Heavy > Liberation > Skill > Echo > Intro Using your rotation and all skills at Lv.10 Heavy - 39.8% Liberation - 29.1% Skill - 10.63% Echo - 5.88% Intro - 0%
Target 130 ER which you can easily get from substats. Having shorekeeper also reduces the her energy requirements. For the stats, target resonance skill damage ( forte skill) and liberation damage. The basic attack scalings are pretty low but the damage is consistent due to the increased crit rate so basic attack damage should be the last priority.

Do the set effect stacks from different character? Eg. If i put rejuvenating glow set on both Spectro Rover and Verina, do the attack buff stacks?
I don’t think so. You’d wanna give one Moonlit Clouds if you were intending on fully buffing Phoebe, plus I think Impermanence Heron gives a mini buff itself along with the set-bonus, so you’re not beating that in terms of damage boosts for Phoebe.
It’s not a bad idea but it’s not optimal. However, that’s what i like about wuwa. You can try out different teams and they will still delete almost anything in the tower
It’s a decent weapon but the somnoire Anchor event weapon is a better choice if you have that. But if you don’t have that, go with fables of wisdom. The stats are better than commando of conviction because of the high base attack
For solo, always use the heavy attack version to activate aftertune. I did some further testing and found out that the pause after heavy attack resonance helps you regenerate some stamina so you’ll never run out of

My Rover is already lvl 90, so I was thinking of building Spectro Rover. I could then use her for the first 3 Tower levels on Spectro buffs, or even instead of Havoc Rover. I have a ton of the Eternal Radiance echoes (almost 4 times more than Frosty Resolve, despite them coming from the same Tacet Field), I just don't have enough Nightmare Aix's to guarantee double crit on it. But I have like 20 Spectro 3-costs and close to that Atk 1-costs.
What are her possible teams though? Not going to use Sanhua and SK with her since they're taken. If she won't work well with other characters, I'll hold off on that until I decide if I want Phoebe or not, since she's Spectro Frazzle and Spectro Rover will be her best teammate for a while.
I'm curious, do the Talent levels transfer between Spectro and Havoc Rover trees? Never thought to check, and I'll probably forget by the next time I turn on the game.

Moonlit will be better. The spectro resistance shredd can help Phoebe do more damage but keep in mind that you’ll spend a bit more time on rover to get the outro
unironically, spectro rover is better used with rejuvenating glow set. Their ult heals and activates the set with ease without needing to build outro. You can easily pair moonlit cloud set on mortefi to double buff phoebe and you’ll get more value out of her :)

@ That rumor that phoebe specializes in basic attack dmg likely originated from the wuthering waves content creator: Ragnorok (who did not do his own due diligence), as he states in his videos to prioritize basic attack damage substats which is completely incorrect. Phoebe specializes in heavy attack damage, hence why mortefi will buff her well.
Next, you asked why rover wants rejuv set. While rover’s healing on their ult is very little, it still activates the powerful rejuvenating glow set effects which further buffs your character, regardless of outro. So to answer your question, you aren’t looking to buff rover’s healing numbers, but instead you’re looking to utilize the healing and turn it into damage buffs for the team with rejuvenating glow.

15% dmg bonus and 40 crit value is huge but how good is the uptime and DPS increase cuz grinding a new set is a pain and in Roccia case it wasn't worth the effort since the difference is so small

How much ER should I go for and which DMG Bonus affects SpectRover the most?
I calculated Heavy > Liberation > Skill > Echo > Intro
Using your rotation and all skills at Lv.10
Heavy - 39.8%
Liberation - 29.1%
Skill - 10.63%
Echo - 5.88%
Intro - 0%
Target 130 ER which you can easily get from substats. Having shorekeeper also reduces the her energy requirements. For the stats, target resonance skill damage ( forte skill) and liberation damage. The basic attack scalings are pretty low but the damage is consistent due to the increased crit rate so basic attack damage should be the last priority.

the percentages represent its dmg over the total dmg in the rotation
Most of the damage in the rotation comes from the heavy attacks, ha: resonance and ha: aftertune, which are all counted as heavy attack

Thank you for the video. I'm a new player here and having a lot of fun playing Spectro Rover. After seeing Phoebe, I want to pair Spectro Rover with Phoebe. Do the set effect stacks from different character? Eg. If i put rejuvenating glow set on both Spectro Rover and Verina, do the attack buff stacks?
I don’t think so. You’d wanna give one Moonlit Clouds if you were intending on fully buffing Phoebe, plus I think Impermanence Heron gives a mini buff itself along with the set-bonus, so you’re not beating that in terms of damage boosts for Phoebe.
I was thinking of building them for Jinhsi, might not be a bad idea.

It’s not a bad idea but it’s not optimal. However, that’s what i like about wuwa. You can try out different teams and they will still delete almost anything in the tower

It’s a decent weapon but the somnoire Anchor event weapon is a better choice if you have that. But if you don’t have that, go with fables of wisdom. The stats are better than commando of conviction because of the high base attack
How would you compare Spector to havoc rover now?
Srover are stronger with his buff kit and his new set echo honestly and Srover feels smoother to play then Hrover for me
I think they are both good enough, srover is DPS and hrover burst, pick the one you like the most
bruh I'm always able to get 98 crit rate and 290 crit dmg with SK buffs (C0 emerald of genesis)

For solo, always use the heavy attack version to activate aftertune. I did some further testing and found out that the pause after heavy attack resonance helps you regenerate some stamina so you’ll never run out of
