Manure is best because it is free. Clover is a great ground cover, it adds nitrogen and the livestock eat it and is cold hardy and perennial and looks good and can be mowed and attracts pollinators and beneficial insects. Manure, kelp, bacteria/fungus, molasses, humic, alfalfa in a bucket of water for a few days is what I use for trees bushes pumpkins.

I'm partial to seaweed and weed tea fertilizers myself.

How often do you feed tomato plants, cucumbers, peppers etc?

Plants communicate with the biology in the soil by releasing exudates. These exudates tell that biology to bring the plants the nutrients they require. Having your soil analyzed (by microscope) to ascertain if it is biologically complete and what biology you are missing is key. Biologically complete soil never has to have additional inputs again. It retains moisture and sequesters carbon from the atmosphere, impacting climate change.

@@TheRipeTomatoFarms started out with tomatoes but graduated to a plant that in a lot of states is illegal, and can say that if you can be successful with tomatoes and the affirmentioned plant everything in the heavy feeder category is a breeze except watermelon

Well watermelon is tough because I don’t have the season for direct seeded plants

What combination of these three qualifies as "organic"? I think it's 21?
