The perfect complement to protect the edge, and your hands. I love when tools do things for it's own use, the concept of retro-alimentation.

I had the same thought... Except... I had to look up "alimentation" HAHA! That doesn't happen to me everyday. Thanks!

I'm wondering why you didn't put a self in to protect the stitching. I just got my head knife today and have to make a sheath for it. I like the looks of yours. Simple but effective.

      Thank you.
I haven't found that I need to do much to protect the stitching in most cases.
The knife in this video isn't very good.
I bought a round knife from Tandy and made this sheath for it (Sheath is 5 years old and still works fine):

Wow GP! Another amazing project!! Love when 2 projects slide into one another to make 1 😉

Nice! I did something similar very recently. I used my round knife to make a sheath for my round knife. It's all very meta ;)

You forgot to bevel the edges before burnishing, and there you a have a mushroom edge.

great job buddy are you going to put a strap on it at least one side? it really complimented the round knife.

Not this one. I gave this one to a guy at the leather store to see what he thinks of them. He can make his own strap so this is fine for him... I'm making one for myself. It will be secured somehow. Good question. Thanks for the props.
