Nice plane and nice flight. I have the Hobby King balsa version. What winds are you flying in? I usually fly in 8-10 mph. I don't like to go over 15 mph.
Yeah, I had 100% rates on the elevator and it was perfect on 70% with 30% expo. That wind was inconstantly stiff making me instantly impressed with this RC Plane. $109 PNP is nothing for how well this performed :D

Hi Captain Bob! 70% D/R for Rudder and Ailerons. I used 75% elevator after take-off. I was 100% elevator on take-off, which was too much. I also use 30% expo on all settings. I hope that helps!
@@GBLynden Thank you... I just put one together and pretty much dialed in the same D/R's. Waiting for good weather to do the maiden. I did notice I couldn't max out the down elevator throw due to hitting the tail wheel. However, I am sure there is enough throw. Thanks again for responding!

GBLynden's RC I just was asking if the pushrods, control horns, etc., were good quality or did you swap them out. Sometimes kits come with pretty flimsy parts. Just curious.

It was perfect actually. My elevator throws were just too aggressive and the wind was all over the place. I normally don’t fly in wind like that, but this is new release and I wanted to share it with people. Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏻

We were dealing with strong winds yesterday and today at the field but got 100 percent success on all flights

This is nice foam model with a surprisingly good finish for something at this price point. I am not sure what you me by small parts being useable.

Yeah Battery Bay Opening is Way to Small...especially for a recommended 2600 to 3000Mah Batteries...id Carve out a Larger Hole myself..
I tell people to do what works best for them and that sounds like an option a number of people might exercise :)
This is a nice plane except for the landing gear ! It will break off after about the third landing .
My landing gear is still solid, but I have heard others say that same thing. I would love to see footage of the landings.
They were smooth landings all three on grass though and it broke off.Glued it back and one smooth landing it broke again
