Thank you so much for explaining this so well! I’ve been trying to figure out how to get on more playlists and geez it’s tough! Definitely will be experimenting with the Facebook ads. New subscriber 🙋🏽♀️😃
Thankyou so much for this video. I put way too much pressure on myself with my social media and it’s nice to know that actually, I can relax a bit and the social media I’m doing now is just a bonus really. 😊
love hearing this from you Charlotte! In the end I think it's all about being as consistent as you can with social media but not being stressed if the outcome isn't always amazing.
My listeners are coming fast…almost 2000…hasn’t been a month since I started releasing music. Really excited about what’s coming next….playlist hopefully. 🙏🏽
I'd advise spending $5 a day if you can to get your feet wet and learn the platform. There's definitely a learning curve in terms of the UI of Facebook Ads Manager and knowing how to choose the correct audiences, ads, placements, etc. With $5 a day you'll be able to start learning these things even if you can only do that for a week or two. If you can spend more, I'd advise putting in $20-50 a day for the first three days after a release so you can set yourself up for the largest likely Release Radar boost. Then you can lower down to $5 a day or whatever you're comfortable with.
@@SOLush Also was checking out your main TH-cam page. You should hit that customize section in the studio dashboard to make different sections on your profile to split up the tips videos from your music so people landing on it can see you do both! Plus it expands your content so people can see how much you're making. Gives it a sussed out look.
dude thats great, excellent video quality and content btw. I've had a hard time with the conversions, it's really hard to set the FB pixel on the landing page, it'd be great if you could make a tutorial about it. Salute man
I always at the bare minimum boost an IG post at $1/day just to keep a trickle running. Once I get some more singles finalized I'll definitely be running larger ads.
@@GourlieRecords I haven’t boosted posts in awhile but I may start experimenting with it. Something I want to try is boosting posts and I send an ad for my single to the people who respond well to those boosted posts
@@SOLush That's definitely an option! I don't have that ability quite yet. I don't have a FB page setup so I'm just running ads off the IG platform so it is much more restrictive than FB ads. I didn't really want a FB page for this but to get access to FB Ads Manager you need one. It's just not that rad of a spot to grow a brand anymore. (Sort of hoping FB gets hit with an Antitrust lawsuit and is forced to remove IG from its umbrella so it becomes its own independent platform like the good ol' days)
@@GourlieRecords yep FB isn’t the greatest. I’m wanting to experiment more with google, tic tok, etc. but for now Instagram just has such a big pull for music
I wish my music was ready for something like spotify, but i think that even if it were, i am nowhere near close to having the skill to being on it. My brother got 10k listeners on spotify from only 2 songs, but spotify is extremely difficult to break in to. My shit is not exactly mainstream so spotify scares me. I love the tips, I wish i was ready for something like this
I love hearing this. Feel free to send over your music to me any time so I can listen (and give advice if you’d like). Spotify and playlists are even harder if your stuff is not the typical mainstream sound but there are still room for lots of niches!
This guy is really epic. I did what he said in the video and now I have over eight thousand listeners. Thank you
Now you have 59. Wtf happened.
@@LIBERATIONUNIT i wish i knew
Love it changed your battery in a video about monthly listeners!
Thanks DD! Haha - my favorite youtubers always incorporate a little real, daily life content to break stuff up so I thought I'd do the same.
Haha wauw, I changed my car battery too just a month ago ;)
Random asf 😂
So now we gonna learn how to get on Spotify playlists **changes car battery**
Great quality video...thank you for the information 🔥🔥🔥
I needed this straight forward information for a long time now

How much money do you think should be spent on ads? I don't have much of a budget to work with

Just use ads. Got it. Thanks!

Really appreciate you Jaden! I know what you mean - the process is very convoluted and messy at times. I’ll keep that video idea in mind
What’s up! How’ve you run your FB ad campaigns? Let me know if you’d like in depth details how I’m running mine. Thanks for watching!

I really liked how you didn't want to sell anything or seem over hyped. Just speaking like normal people to each other 🙂 hope the car got fixed!

Love your tips! Just got to 3 thousand Spotify plays 😬
are you from seattle because that pic looks like dowtown seattle 1:50
if I stream on repeat an artist every day does it help his discoverability?
5 second summary: buy facebook ads.
