Santol is originally from Southeast Asia: the Spaniards brought it to our shores (along with Breadfruit and Jackfruit). I have a home in the Philippines and Santol is all over the place; the kids there don't let the ting ripen ... it's my middle daughter's favorite.
Wesley! This santol fruit looks like it’s going to be your favourite fruit, it looks like you wanted to just sit a have a lot of them, blessings to you for more knowledge
Another exotic fruit that I am happy to know that is in Jamaica. I have been following a fruit finder on TH-cam for over 12 years. All the fruits that you mentioned on this channel, he had find and featured all over the world. Since I've been watching him, my biggest and only dream is to go back to Jamaica and plant as much fruit trees as i possible can. I would love to have me a piece of mountain property like Tom's and create a beautiful fruit forest, and i think that Tom could help me to get my hands on some of those rare fruit trees. The first video from your channel that really grabbed my attention was the Black sapote video. Ever since then, I never missed one of your videos. I'm always happy to see a fruit that i only know from TH-cam, is there growing in my backyard.
@@myislandjamaica yes it is. Jamaica has every tropical fruit imaginable. They all have different medicinal values. If I lived there I would eat fruit only. Its so many a person can never get bored or tired of them. Smoothies galore!!
