Should I develop the best heroes to level 40 and then choose one by one to develop them to level 60, or do I first choose one who develops them directly from 1 to 60?
Do one by one the heroes you choose as the leader of the squad. The other one level 10 with 4 stars if possible otherwise you'll have to level them up to level 30 minimum

@yerevan2000 not true... most of the stuff I didn't pay for it. Like speedups, advanced search... I was in DHX for 3 months. Every day, you receive 5 days of speedups and up to 10 advanced searches from buying gifts. And I'm not talking about the vip tickets...
Searching item was from alliance gift and buying gifts from players in DHX. You get tons of gift in DHX and the advanced search maybe 10 a day easy. The gems I bought the doomsday express packs for gems and I also bought the gems from anniversary for 100$ you had 31k gems + 155k bonus so total 186k gems.
@@Fengaming1 you could wait for the event to exchange them for points and buy universals or a bunch of other useful stuff..at this point, for your account, star exp is less needed...

I can get everything I need in the exchange event with the construction speed ups and the elite hero fragments. At least, in Top commander I get 10,000 points per fragments so 300 fragments give me 3M points this not negligible.

Honestly you can but I found the game boring without spending at least 15$ for the gems pass every month. Very long to reach tier 6 troops without the gems for the victory badges.
