- Here's a little video of the restoration of my 1990 Jeep YJ.
I did a complete makeover. From Top to Bottom. Repainted it completely. It has a 4 1/2inch Pro Comp lift. 17inch wheels with 37x12.5x17 Maxxis Trepador tires. Smittybilt Front Bumper. Smitttybilt Back Bumper with Tire Carrier. Bushwhacked Flat Fender Flares. All the lighting has been converted to LED.

Such a beautiful build. I would never consider buying a Jk or J anything when there are Jeeps like this that you can buy or build for the same money.

I will admit I have always liked the TJ's more than the YJ's.....but, This is an awesome YJ..!
You did a very nice job on this Wrangler.
I got a 1990 four banger (no cat) 2, and a half lift shackles in front and two and I half inch springs in the rear, I used chinese sockets for spacers on the transmision, you only need four anyhow, the front drive shaft was binding so I cut a 1/2 inch off both ends in the middle, heck it slides back almost 6 inchs when disconnected, those Crown and other custom length drive shafts start at 399 bucks, the previous owner had the leaf spring mounts welded to the top of the axle at the correct angle, and the handling sucked wrong pitman arm etc so I installed new springs in the stock location, removed the rear track bar and front sway bar.
This beast is absolutely stunning.

P Ness Thanks bud! It's a FlowMaster with the catalytic converter eliminated. But I'll be changing that up very shortly. Getting custom headers and exhaust done to give it the sound and power to match its tough look.

i am looking at buying those flares. Did you have to cut any of the fender to install them?
No, I didnt have to cut the fenders to put them on. I did have to do a little trimming on the front flares and moved the differential 2" forward so that i wouldnt have any rubbing when turning.

Amazing speciman. Has the classic engine knock from the old straight 6 incline........ When is Fiat/Jeep going to go back to that engine? The new renegade has a similar concept with 4 cylindar.

very clean jeep I have a 1994 jeep Wrangler YJ and I was wondering what size lift kit do you have and what kind of rear view mirrors do you have because my stock ones on my jeep tilt inwards once I reach 30 mph or higher and all I can see is my tires or the road

Nice yj do you by chance know the part number on your front turn signal light I have the same kind but clear and they have no numbers on them anywhere and one of mine has some leds out of it

Thank you. The Headlights I bought from a local 4x4 store in my town. They were from a Chinese company. But I'm not sure what the company name is. They are super bright and cover the road very well. The turn signals are from superbrightleds.com
