Let me tell you... Listening to this in a car that has some serious bass just hits different. Sounds almost like a different song when played in a car with lots of bass. Hearing this song as it is just seems so.. odd
A lot of dubstep drops with higher frequency bass are going to have a similar effect, unless a "mid range sub bass" is layered with the main the bass. I'm also going to guess that the drop is pretty much all in mono except for the bass fills to minimize phasing issues and frequency clashing.
