Moving to Scotland was one of the best things that I’ve ever done It’s so beautiful and so much positive energy around It’s hard to be negative in such beautiful surroundings
Today, your videos found me. Where you are is, assuredly, gorgeous, but your videos take nature to another level. You aren’t in a hurry; you let water and wind speak; you delight in the small surprises. Bravo!
Well spoken, and absolutely true. I felt my breathing slowing down as I watched. Thanks for sharing interesting and unusual facts and history with us, along with the stunning video footage. New sub here! 🙂 -Cara
I have found several abandoned townships in the Scottish Highlands, like the one in this video, with silent, empty, fallen-down houses now overgrown by nature. All those who once lived there now long dead, but still lingering there is the sweet sadness of their memory.
@@quazar912 Many families were made to leave their homes by the landowners, or because it was too hard to make enough money there. Many went to live in Canada, USA and Australia.
This is so refreshing to watch. We are having the worst ever drought here in California. I live by a creek, and for the 33 years I have lived here, it has never dried up until now. It dried up in May, incredibly, before the dry season even started. Wildlife are really suffering here because of this drought, and we are saving and re-using, as possible, every drop of water.
That was spell binding to watch. You took me to that place! I am a retired teacher who taught video production and this would have received 100%. I could not find fault with anything. The amount and spacing of the comments, the choice of music and the volume you had, the selection of scenes, their composition, the length of time you held a scene - all perfect. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Well done young lady!
I will not get tired when i walk on that picturesque forest. So wonderful. Wish i can walk in the future that kind of lovely nature. Sending loads of love from Philippines❤
You have a gift of bringing out subtle details, which ordinarily escape notice. A wonderful video which makes me feel not just close but part of nature. You are young and have a lot of potential. I wish you all the success
I found your channel about a couple of weeks ago. I've binge watched all your videos- they're always so simple, pure and heartwarming. Hope to always find you here in this space x
Thank you so much!! That honestly means a lot. I have every intention to keep filling this space with magical nature adventures. :) Lots of love from Sussex! xxx
I grew up in Virginia and remember Autumn in the Blue Ridge Mountains as the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I had a small house near the top of the mountain and the views of the Shenandoah river winding through the valley below are permanently etched in my mind. The smell of the leaves and the crisp breeze bringing the hint of smoke from the chimney is still vivid. That is the only place that felt like home to me. I am old now and left the Blue Ridge many years ago, but I hope to return once again before I leave this Earth. I hope it hasn't changed too much but alas Virginia is nothing like it used to be.
You are an amazingly unique young woman. Watching your videos is like capturing the travels that I so sadly missed in my own youth. I would rather watch you and your adventures any day to watching Rick Steves! Thanks you, you are a blessing
such a beautiful place. Thank you for the story of the forest. It gives me hope that the forest can return. And the return of the beavers, so much to hope for.
I love how you describe what you see and experience... its slow, with deep emotions and poetic view. You dont hurry from one place to the next for the best and dramatic shots and selfies, you giving yourself time and space to feel the landscape and the nature, down to smallest details. Its really a pleasure to watch. I was in scotland five years ago, I and my friends did our best to enjoy this country and landscapes to the fullest. I am a bit homesick now.
I am doing as much research on Scotland as I can muster. I was enthralled by your gentle and calm narratings. You are a natural and I am now a subscriber. Scotland is truly a natural marvel.
Scotland always seems lime the most beautiful place on earth to me. I hope someday I will be able to afford spending my summers and autumns there, the California heat is unbearable this time of year (mid-September, 2021). I enjoy your videos so much, thank you.
Just finished and completed the Great Glen Way. The colours are beautiful, I know many love seeing Scotland during summer with those big bright colours but for me it's all about the rain and the creeping mist. I will be honest and say that at times I prefer to be antisocial, I need to recharge the soul and its best done when you feel that you are the only person on the planet when exploring the hills. That is my Scotland 🏴 Our home 💙
The most awe inspiring portion of this Visio for me was your hand gently resting upon the lush moss. Thank you. On the other hand, the entire video is awe inspiring and filled with wonder.
You are so talented - thank you for sharing this beautiful scape...I may never get to wander that far...but I feel like a part of me just did. Thank you again.
Beautiful video which perfectly captures the colours and atmosphere of the Highlands. And I love your commentary. Your knowledge of trees, plants, mushrooms, etc., is impressive. Your voice is calm, soothing and unaffected, a refreshing change from the egocentric, frenzied chatter of the average TH-cam video.
Your videos popped up in my algorithm. I'm so glad I decided to click on your account. As someone with Irish-Scott heritage (Munro) it's beautiful to see the Highlands. It's on my bucket list and after your post I can't wait to go and explore. Beautifully done! New sub, btw. 🏞️🏴
Some of the best content on YT. Thank you...you have gift for story telling...video and narration are superb. I have greatly enjoyed watching and listening and learning.
I spent just a week in the Highlands in Autumn 2019. Edinburgh, Deeside, Inverness, Isle of Skye and Isle of Mull. It was beautiful and little parts of it reminded me of home in the South Island of New Zealand. I hope to return one day and see more of the Hebrides.
Oh you're so right, the Celtic spirit was so strong! So glad you enjoyed the video. It makes me genuinely so happy to share some of the magic through the video!
Imagine in ancient times when the first people arrived there. How this must have seemed. I'm kind of not surprised so much saga comes from there (but maybe I am wrong about this).
The mushroom remind me to my home town. We have a lot grow wildly in rainy season like now. It grows from the home of white ant. I found some on the floor of my kitchen when I was a kid
Hi! You should come to Magallanes, in the extreme south of Chile, in Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales (Torres del Paine) Here the lands are extremely similar to the places in Scotland. Cold, rain, snow, wind, long nights in winter, long days in summer, reddish sunrises, unique and beautiful sunsets, an enormous vastness, surrounded by sea and islands, a silence and almost poetic connection. A history of indigenous human population of about 10,000 before our era, tragic situations of the last century and a half such as workers massacres and an ethnic genocide (Selknam, Haush, Kaweskar, Yamana) and the regrettable and horrendous acts of the English, German and French known As Human Zoos, however, this is all part of something very unique and precious. The capital of this region of Magellan is Punta Arenas, next to the Strait of Magellan, an enormously well-known route that attracted the first Europeans about a century ago here, especially English, Scots, Yugoslavs (at that time), Austrians, Italians, Russians, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Germans, Norwegians, etc. Perhaps, it would be very nice if you knew this magical place. Fraternal greetings from Punta Arenas, Chile
Beautiful video. Well done. Thanks for posting. Here in central Florida USA, we have two seasons - February and summer. Hot and humid most of the year.
I'm not a big fan of autumn colors. When I was a kid, autumn colors meant Summer was over, back to School and here comes Winter cold but Scotland holds a warm spot in my heart and is beautiful in all seasons.

Wow. That (your comment) was poetic. And beautiful.
why no one lives there anymore?

@@molecatcher3383 I understand...same here in Croatia. but the truth here is that out goverment didn`t do anything to stop people from leaving.
The English landlords forced them off highland clearances
I had no idea that anything like this existed or that Scotland could be so beautiful! Thank you.
