Hot take: Ultron is the top of S tier. He’s menacing as hell, that Black Widow scene where he rips himself in half. Goated.
He’s got that complex juxtaposition that he’s got the internet’s entire intelligence but still naive in his solution. After all, he was born yesterday.
And lastly he’s got that Stark charm. I think if he had an extra day to prep his plan, the Avenger’s would’ve been toast.
I feel like Mysterio wouldn’t have gotta as far as he did if the real Fury was on Earth
Watching videos like this is such a refreshing reminder that people still love the MCU. Hearing your opinions with such conviction is so much fun.

This is sooo strange! Like, the MCU is know for being good with forgettable villains... And there's more S-tiers than D and F. And adding non-villains as villains... Like, Ross? A villain? Really? I bet this guys give 8-10 (from 0-10) for every movie ever!

I've always said Marvel's biggest mistake in this universe is getting rid of the villains way too soon. Some of them could have definitely used more than one movie to do their thing. Makaleth is a great example.
It's not even getting rid of them as much as leaving them alive to never return! It's annoying
Killmonger completed his "task" as well. He wanted Wakanda to step up and help the disenfranchised and T'Challa does so at the end of the movie.

The criteria for ranking was all over the place lol. Love you guys, but Justin Hammer so high up? He was a joke and all of his plans went wrong. His tech didn’t work at times. He lost control to Whiplash. So if how successful they were was important, no way he’s that high up lol.
Everyone’s got different criteria, but what makes him such a great villain is also how ENTERTAINING he is to watch. He’s such a loser, it’s great to watch him lose, lol.

Confused by the lack of Netflix villains on the list, despite Kilgrave and Cottonmouth being here. No Bullseye? No Hellcat, Elektra, Madame Gao? I’d expect to have seen at least Bullseye here.

Whoa whoa whoa... Wenwu is so so so much higher than Hella. Hella was a goof ball with no empathy and a penchant for murder. That's it. Go back and watch the emotions on Wenwu's face both in the flashbacks when he is with his wife and say the end of the movie when he's arguing with his son at the gate... So good. He's almost at the top of S tier.

She keeps talking about the evolution of a character but the poll was them as a villian! Remove the character arch and just focus on the time of them during peak bad.
I think it’s great to take into account the totality of the character, no one is pure good or pure evil, and these villains are sometimes complex!

I still have a hard time with accepting MBJ as Kilmonger. His dialogue did not match what I would expect from an MIT grad/Navy Seal and adjacent Chad Boseman (R.I.P.) he seemed kind of low intelligence and thuggish. Maybe A tier not S. Just my opinion.
Erik Stevens was a brilliant character, written incredibly smart, and acted that way too, from Micheal B. Jordan. If you felt he was “low intelligence” and “thuggish”, I think that’s a sign you should look inward and ask why. If you weren’t aware, the use of the word “thug” is often associated with people who are making an effort to diminish or delegitimize the accomplishments or efforts of a black man.
Putting Kang as high A is ridiculous…Kang was so far from being scary. So disappointing for what they could have done with Kang.

I disagree on John Walker. He has anger and other emotional issues which caused him to make some bad choices for sure, but he is not a villian at all. A misguided anti-hero maybe.
His anger and emotional issues that led to his choices makes him a villain, like other villains who also make mistakes and let their anger or emotional issues get the best of them. Walker’s problem is also that he believes he *deserved* the shield, which a real Captain America would never think.
