All very useful tips for anyone new to puzzling. I've branched out over the years and tried images that are different to my usual ones. Depending on where you live availability can be a bit of a problem. I buy all my puzzles online as my local area is rather dire for jigsaw puzzles. Building up a list of stores online is a good way of finding interesting puzzles and online charity shops are great for bargain puzzles. 😃
Great tips! I like the puzzles you recommended. They are decent and not that expensive. If you think abt it, its abt the price of going to a movie with snacks!!!!!
You're right but for me here in Canada, snacks at the movies can sometimes be more than the cost of a puzzle. I prefer the puzzle. No calories involved.
One of the European brands I really like is Cloudberries. They have some beautiful images and I love that they are sustainably conscious. Another one is Jiggy, although they are a bit on the expensive side, so I only have 2 of their puzzles. They're female-founded and also sustainable. Another female-owned company that I like is EeBoo/Love & Pieces and they're also sustainable... Just thought I'd share... ♥♥♥
Great tips Sandra. I think light setting is important too because I do better with natural light than artificial light. Dark colors being super challenging at night time with artificial lighting.

@laregimbal villager is also woman owned and they promote Canadian female artists and locations in their puzzles.
Such great tips, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you. And I agree, lighting is so important. I guess that would be tip #6.
@@thepuzzlingcanadian looking forward to another one of your puzzle challenges, I truly love those 😊
Did you knit your top?! It looks great!
Thanks! I am not a knitter. I ended up finding this top at Marshalls early in the season.
@@cielvt Haha, I meant to ask about that also. It's beautiful!
@thepuzzlingcanadian good find! I am a knitter and had to ask, cause tbh. It looks like it could be handmade. The colour is fantastic on you!
I may have to rethink joining Facebook. 😊
I’m a good puzzler but enjoy the video
Thanks!
